Look out Paul, George Foreman grill is in hot water!

Post by Craven Sound »

I saw this on the news, and knew you'd be spiked!

Pennsylvania recently received some settlement money from a multi-state lawsuit against the maker of George Foreman Indoor Electric Grills. Tuesday, State Attorney General Jerry Pappert gave some of that money -- $35,000 worth -- to Penn State's Nutrition Links program. Nutrition Links helps educate low income residents across the state on things like food safety and nutritional foods. Pennsylvania was one of 47 states that was part of a settlement with Salton, Inc. of Illinois. Salton was accused of engaging in a price-fixing scheme with its George Foreman grills

That's alright, we're actually in the process of inking a sponsorship contract with another Foreman. I'll give you a few hints about him - he's also bald, he likes putting feet up asses, and he use to drive a Vista Crusier.

Seriously though, they are using this money to teach low-income families about nutrition? That kind of reminds me of this one program (I think it was out in California) where they gave makeovers to homeless women. Why don't we use that money to actually help these people better themselves? I swear, if some people's brains were dynamite, they wouldn't have enough to blow their nose.
