No club owner is perfect, just like no band is perfect. I've seen Big John give bands a start , then see them go on to other things. One post seemed to take joy that John couldn't get a band for Saturday. How stupid is this ? If your complaint list includes : " There aren't enough places to play ! " Then work with this guy. You don't want to loose another venue. Every venue that supports live music should get your support.

I am not saying this directly to Peter C's, I am saying it to every place that does support live music. Support, like respect, is earned. If a place doesn't support and respect you, then that band does not come back. It is the same vice versa. If the band doesn't respect the place, when the place was giving respect, then the band doesn't come back. It's real simple.
