BUT I know so few of you I would like to use this post for everyone to post your real name and your band name and what you play or do for that band etc.. so everyone will have a chance to better know who they are chatting, agreeing, disagreeing ETC...

Hey, I'm Tom Urbain, my friends call me Urbs. I live in Cresson. I play rhythm guitar and sometimes drums with "Beyond Reason" and I also play some guitar and am the backup drummer for "The Rattlers".

This was a great idea for a post Bobby!! We should think about a Rockpage get together some time - although that would be very hard to coordinate. Not really to play, just to meet each other. Especially since there are soooo many of us on here from the Altoona area.

J (ason) Michael(s) Smith - I was singing for Chucklehead (based out of State College), but that has disbanded - I am taking over vocals for Skruem (based in Perry County) in a couple weeks when their singer moves, and Hubast (drums for Chucklehead, and Bashful back in the day) and I are also trying to get a project started up here (State College)

Hi Bob,

My name is John Solinski (John Solinski & Kenny Karlheim acoustic duo) and I'm addicted to music. No matter what I try and do to get it out of my mind, it keeps coming back to haunt me. I can't sleep at night....I toss and turn....I sometimes even wet to bed and cry profusely.

I decided to become a member here because I found out there ARE other people like me. I've been a member since April of 2003 and it has changed my life. The members here taught me that it's OK to cry and just wear a depends to bed, so there's no icky cleanup in the morning. Just remember that everybody needs a hug!

My name is Dave but almost everyone that knows me knows me by Red. Hell, even the cops and half of my school teachers called me Red. I played the drums for about 25 years. I have about 15 years each on guitar and bass. I have been in what seems to be countless bands including Stix and Stones (bass), Nightwing (drums) and most recently, Retroactive (bass for a year and a half and drums for almost 2 years). I mainly work at the Castle Pub now. I (with a little help from Dean) designed the Castle's light show. I drew it out on paper and when it came in, Dean and I built it. I programmed all the band and DJ scenes. I run sound for all the bands that play there now. I am a hip hop DJ (DJ Dawg)but I only play Tuesdays and Thursdays because I don't want to take gigs away from bands and I'd rather be playing or running sound. I have an acoustic project that plays on Wednesdays. I don't have a day job although I've had many. I'm not trying to get famous. I just want to make a living doing what I love most.
