well, my screen name is from when i first started playing music (not the year 2004) but my first instrument was a bass, and i loved it, played it like crazy, hence bassist4life (but i dont play bass anymore). 2004 was the weight of the 1980's Peavey T-40 that was my first guitar. solid oak body with lead plugs in the back, 200 pound rebar for a truss rod, pickups made of lead with concrete pickup rings, lead hardware with a granite pick guard and a backplate made of 1 inch thick stainless steel.

Homerski is my last name.
And I idolize Benjamin Franklin's life and works. This excerpt from Firesign Theatre's "Everything You Know is Wrong" album sums it up:
"Benjamin Franklin - The only President of the United States, who was never President of the United States".
Speaking of Firesign Theatre ... I would like to encourage everyone to go out and get some of these old gems. They are timeless classics that must be consumed while drinking beer or eating beans, but get better with each listen:
1. Everything you Know Is Wrong (1974)
2. I Think We're All Bozos On This Bus (1971)
3. Waiting For the Electrician (Or someone like him) (1968)

Hey Andy, what's up! I remember the ramrods! Last time I saw you was in the summer over at thunder in the valley on Sunday afternoon. I was filling in with The British Invasion. Hope you're doing well. Nice to see us old rockers are still kickin'!RamRod 1 wrote:Came from former band, "Andy & the RamRods".

Remember me??
I played drums in Little Brother with Randy Rutherford, Bill Filer, and Jeff Michel. Before that with Andy Rhody in Fantasy Airlift. I saw you and Randy with Ricky Lee at the Cookport Fair. Wow, what a shitty crowd, you guys sounded great nonetheless. Now I'm with the Flood City Brass and havin' a fantastic time. I turn 56 in April, but still rockin' out.
