Torrents and AtlanticBB

Post by FBooth »

Hey All, I have moved back to 'tuna city and have Atlantic BB as my ISP. I have not been able to D/L anything using UTorrent. I had no probs in Pittsburgh with Comcast. I have tried a couple other progs but with the same results. Anyone else out there having issues?

I never had a problem....

Go to Options -> Connection and make sure "randomize port when utorrent starts" is checked...
Laugh if you want to, really is kinda funny, 'cause the world is a car and you're the crash test dummy.

Thanks for the info. I did try that. I've checked all firewalls, tcp/udp ports..etc. I have tried just about everything I could find on the net to get it to work, but have had no luck. Are you on AtlanticBB in the Altoona/Hollidaysburg area? I have read that some cable ISPs are throttling torrent D/L's.

Maybe they just don't like the music that you're trying to download.
