What an awesome album ... it really pushed R&B music further into the mainstream and it was good from front to back (sorry, but I still have my vinyl copy in pretty good shape).

Yeah, Jacko's a freak but thanks for this one. Now, climb back into your oxygen chamber and get that damn nose fixed!

Mama Corn's done Thriller and Billie Jean a few times live.
I hate to admit, there's some exceptionally tasty grooves on the records (I love the breakdown in Thriller, where they dance in the video), and some of the songs are really well-written lyrically. Definitely one of those records I abhored then, and respect now. That record was just beyond huge back then... there's nothing else to compare to the stir it created, they talked about it on the evening news, and you could buy it at grocery stores and gas stations. It was surreal.
It still sucks that he screwed EVH over on the Billie Jean guitar solo credit. That, and did to the Beatles what he does to young boys. --->JMS

I don't believe I've ever heard the entire album, even though I once came into the possession of it from a neighbor. They couldn't sell a bunch of albums at their yard sale and were going to throw it away. It's around, somewhere...I'll have it back one day and be certain to give it all a listen on my still un-used turntable.
