3 way mini toggle on a warwick thumb

Post by IN-BASS »

A few months ago the pickup blend pot on my warwick thumb 5 stopped working.. I replaced it with a new pot and now it just does not seem to work as well as before..

so my question is,

I want to get a 3 way mini toggle installed. an on/on/on switch in the hole where the blend pot originally was.

1st position - neck , 2nd position neck and bridge, 3rd position - bridge.

Does anyone know if this is doable? and/or who could do it.

Thanks

Adam

Yep, just did it with 4:33's bass. The hots from each pickup go to the switch's outer pins and the common center pin(s) goes to the volume/tone circuit, just like the blend pot should have been wired.

You could probably do it yourself if you have soldering skills.
