Guys,

Every time the Grimm posts flyers at Peter C's, somebody rips them down. I don't know who we've pissed off to earn this kind of attention, but I'm making this post to state the following: This little vendetta is a stupid, childish pain in the ass.

To whoever out there is doing this...if you have a gripe with us, have the balls to state your piece. Any pansy can rip down a poster when nobody's looking...be a real man (or woman, if such is the case) and knock it off already, coward! This kind of backbiting doesn't help anyone and is a waste of your time and ours.

Enough already!

I say you should send "mini bob" in undercover. He would appear very inconspicuous and also he has the eye sight of an eagle. His belly is not nearly the capacity of his namesake so your costs for beverages would be minimized. :-)LOL!

If we ever find anyone taking flyers down we will drag them kicking and screaming to the band rehearsal space where they can plead for their life!

Thanks for all the posts! I agree that Mini Bob would make an excellent undercover agent! We encourage people to collect our fliers....I still get chills from Langdon's artwork!

Well one thing is for sure....the person who keeps ripping down our fliers is a spineless little waste of a human being...if he had any guts at all, he (or she) would have posted a response by now.

NO GUTS!

I guess if the only way this pathetic little waste of a person can get release is by ripping down posters of bands he (or she) hates, then I should feel more sorry than angry for their wretched ass.

Anybody else out there plagued by an idiot with a vendetta?

I think that most bands that experience some success get a little flack from bands that don't.So maybe take it as a compliment. That really isn't the way someone envious should go about it though, if a band is doing better than you it would be smart to accept that, look at what made them what they are and try to learn something.

I could see why somebody would want to keep the artwork... it's very good. Tell the artist what's going on, I have a feeling he'll like it... nothing like good old demand to increase art's monetary worth. If you think it's just somebody being a dick, it's not a very good plan... eventually people know you're going to be there... you guys generate word-of-mouth, which is flat-out the best marketing tool.
I'd look into getting color promo posters made. Give the peeps what they want... they're cheaper than you'd think, from Discmakers, and sell 'em. I've done shows where I've made more from that than from the show pay itself. The all-age crowd loves merch, and that particular artwork would appeal even to boys, who are usually a hard sell for posters. Of course, all the young girls love Mini-Bob... his poster would sell like hotcakes!------->JMS
