I am just deeply saddened over our kids getting killed over there. I probably should have never watched Nick Berg's execution because my feelings of anger and outrage take over. When I hear of 18yr. olds being shot dead, and my own family members who are there and really DON'T believe in the cause anymore; well it's damn frustrating.

These Iraqi's can do whatever they want no matter how horrendous or barbaric it is to get their point across and it's expected, however we always have to play PC and "be the better country". It's bullshit to me.

Everybody is so desensitized (probably spelled that wrong) anymore that something such as Mr. Berg's murder doesn't even put a fire under anyone's ass enough to do anything about. Oh fuck it, that's there, we're here, out of sight out of mind is the general attitude. What happened to the American spirit?? What is it really going to take to force us out of our sofa's and tell this gov't that we want action, swift action now! 9/11 was not very PC, and we shouldn't be either. Like I said in a previous post, if any of this would have happened 50 yrs. ago, the middle east would be a parking lot. We need to set an example, but we also need our kids home.

Don't worry about apologizing in a PC manner man, The whole PC concept is what got this country in this bind in the first place.

I'm right there with you bro! I'm disgusted with it and it pisses me off that the media would much rather have everyone here believe that our military is "subhuman" by continuing to talk about the prison scandel. I can't believe that we've come to the point where Nick's death is meaningless and the mistreatment of the enemy takes presidence.

What really sucks is that our boys are treated a hell of a lot worse under captivity. But the media doesn't want to shed any negativity on the enemy... that would lead to higher morale in the US and better support of our troops.

I also watched the video and wished I hadn't. For those who said it could be fake.... no chance. Why would our media rather show us as the animals when they are so much more barbaric?!!
