SEVER on Blabbermouth.net !!

[Team Transylvania]

After recently playing shows with SOILWORK and PRONG, to name a few, Pennsylvania-based melodic death metal act SEVER will head into Cleveland's Spider Studios (CHIMAIRA, DROWNING POOL, WALLS OF JERICHO) in January with producer Ben Schigel to begin recording its new album.

The group expects to have some of its new songs up on the band's MySpace page by the end of January.

How did you find out about that. I didnt even know until today! Im pretty excited to be working with Ben Schigel! Hes worked with so many great metal bands that I know he will help us put together a great Album. Look for the album to be out early to mid 2008.

That name sounds familiar...isn't Ben also the singer of SWITCHED. I had SWITCHED booked at Ace's, but their fill in drummer had another commitment to honor and they had to cancel out. Anyway...that mention in Blabbermouth is awesome!

Yeah, Ben sings for Switched. Which, in all honesty, his voice kinda sucks and they arent too good. BUT , as a producer, he is damn good. he has made some great records. im excited for the local guys to be making a record with him!

Haha...it's not going to take Blabbermouth to get you into Ace's...I'm just waiting on a weekend show to bill you guys on. I'll get you guys up here before too long. I might have a show on March 1st with STEMM and HEAVEN'S DUST (from Japan). I'm still working to confirm it...hold tight.
