You can now access LOST LEDNY info through www.jagermusic.com. The boys join the list of only eight other, listed PA bands on the jager web site. Check www.lostledny.com for an upcoming OZZFEST ticket giveaway.

I can't understand is how Ledny can get a Jager backing. I went to see them one time. They did not play any HEAVY stuff that Jager is known for. There is only that the Jaybird is a verygood sales man. I have to give him credit on that. Because, I know that the band NEVER could just do it with the stuff that they play.

Hmmm...Lost Ledny does covers of Pantera, Metallica, Korn, Disturbed, Coal Chamber, Slipknot, System of a Down, Flaw, Etc. Those are all in the line of Jager bands. Flaw is actually a Jager band. Maybe you were at some other show!

NO I have been at a few show's. Because there is nothing better to do!!! You are right you may play those songs, but what should matter is your OWN SONGS. I have you cd (that you gave out for free go figure that one) None of those songs in my view should be associated with Jager. The bands that are on the tour are HEAVY BANDS that when ever they play they do their best to kick your ass. But, You also play POP songs and rap crap song's also. Now I know that there are other people out their that agree with me and I am upset that I am the only one to say something about this. So, would the other's that agree with me please let me hear you voice!!!

Ok...so you see that Slipknot is headlining the Jager Tour this year, so you assume that every Jager band is a "Slipknot". Do your research before you come on here and run your mouth. Lastly...pop songs? Name a pop song that Ledny covers.

One more thing before I ignore your ignorance...thank you for your cover money. Since you have nothing better to do keep coming to Ledny shows and paying us! Now go find another thread and start bashing someone elses good news.

I also think that it is cool that you guys gave this person a CD! That is the way to get your music out to the public. Obviously this poster could not understand that but what the heck! Congrats on the page and also having the balls to give your music to the people!

You don't have to be a super heavy band to get a sponsorship from Jager. Honestly, after seeing this post, I decided to contact them about sponsoring our acoustic duo. As long as you meet the criteria, they'll sponsor you. We're waiting to receive our first box in the mail for our trial sponsorship. I'd just like to thank JayBird for posting this thread and URL for the site to be able to look into it. I would've never thought of it. Again, thanx bro. ;)

Thin Ice never sold a single tape or CD, and yet we got as much airplay as any regional band ever did, played all the best clubs and auditoriums, and people still request the songs 15 years later. It was completely underground distribution, tapers sharing with tapers, and folks shared the music because they liked it, not because a big marketing campaign told them to. leesport, if you paid a cover to get in the place, the band was reimbursed for the cost of a CD... bought in bulk, they cost like a buck and a half... how do you think record companies make so much moolah selling you discs for $15 a pop?
I'm all for a band making money from their songs, but if they want to give them away, that's pretty cool, too. Congrats, Lost Ledny!--->JMS
