computer help

Post by mjb »

my email (yahoo) when i'm composing or when i get mail its like it doesn't fit on th epage. each sentence runs longer than the page, and theres no way to even scroll left /right. it is really pissing me off. if i go to "reply" i can scroll down and read my mail as normal . everything seems to fit. WTF. can anybody tell me what to do to fix this. i've tried a couple things but i can't figure it out. i was thinking maybe if i just yanked it off the desk and threw it out side and ran it over with my tractor it would probobly do the trick, but i really don't want to go back to my old way of fixing things. i have a child in the house now and am trying to lead by example.

oh yeah, it does it on my pc and my laptop. if that helps!

tanks,

Mike, I'm not really sure, I don't know much about computers, but I have alot of respect for you right now, I believe that you are the first person to admit that you own a Tractor on here.

What kind of Tractor is it?

Cub Cadet - Now that's a pretty high-end tractor there!

(bassist_25 is from rural Pennsylvania)
"He's the electric horseman, you better back off!" - old sKool making a reference to the culturally relevant 1979 film.

Mike, what web browser are you using?
Also, what happens when you make the browser window smaller? Do you get a scroll bar at the bottom then?
I ran some tests with my yahoo email account and didn't see anything wrong.
... and then the wheel fell off.

hey ron,
i'm not really sure what you mean by browser but i think what you mean is this: internet explorer ? but it goes right to yahoo when i doubleclick it on my desk top. i know it's pathetic but, what can i say. is that what you ment? when i click it to make it smaller it disappears down to the bottom of my screen. let me repeat, i know i'm pathetic at this. i'm thinkin thats why nasa never got back to me.

I had something like this happen to me where, whatever was on my screen was way too big. The font and everything. My girlfriend was able to fix it but I'm not sure what she did.

When she gets home here in about 30 mins. I'll have her look at this post and see if she can make out what it could be.

I'm as computer illiterate as you, so don't feel bad dude.
It's sad, cause when I have a problem, I don't even know how to explain or describe it properly enough for someone to help me.

Sounds like it's something simple that happened to yours, but what do I know? (nothing!)
