We are sorry to say that the rumours are unfortunately true, Our beloved brother Otto is leaving the band, he has agreed to stick with us until a suitable replacement can be named, Rest Assured were NOT closing shop... We hope to announce a new axe man ( or woman ) soon! We wish our brother much luck in his future musical endeavors. THE GRIMM

He will be going to the "Smoke Run Band" They are a local band that has been around for many years, They are a pretty big draw in the mountain areas around Glendale Lake they play alot of southern and classic rock Skynard, Toby Keith, Bob Segar, etc..

The guitar textures that Mr. Otto laid down on The Grimm works are wonderful to the ears. I think there's a little Fripp and a whole lotta Otto in there! Best wishes for you and the Grimm! And as you part ways, all roads eventually lead back to where you began. Safe and happy journeys!

I am really sorry to hear that Kirk (Otto) has decided to leave.

It is very true that THE GRIMM will not be the same ... BUT ... We will be " THE GRIMM " we have NO intention on hanging this up. We are interviewing and auditioning guitarists and the remaining 3 of us are VERY pumped about the "next generation" if you will . So we hope that our beloved Grimmettes and ALL Grimm fans will remain loyal and continue to be our rock. Thank You for your concerns and support ! Hey come see us this Sat. at Peter C's

Thanks for all the posts and words of support we've recieved from you all! We're sorry to lose our brother Otto, but we don't plan on hanging it up any time soon! It's great to know that our friends in the scene believe in us.
