Hey Edenites, I just found out today that Eden has a new series of cabinets out.

http://eden-electronics.com/products/eseries/index.aspx

Seems like they are going a little more old school with this, which seems to be somewhat of the trend lately. I remember when the trend three years ago were hifi flat-response cabs. They look like they may have a bit of an SVT vibe to them. If anyone gets a chance to try out one of these cabs, let us know what you think!

Paul, I saw that there's an Eden dealer in PA. I know where that is, so if you wanna road trip sometime, let me know. You can call and see if he has it in stock.

Here's the info;

ATKINS MUSIC CENTER
166 W CRAWFORD AVE

CONNELLSVILLE, PA 15425
724-628-2450

What Eden gear are you using? I was trying to find it on there, but I couldn't remember.

I have an Eden CX210 cab, which is no longer in production. It's a consistenly good sounding enclosure. I wish it were more efficient or had more power handling though. My low B can clip it easily if I'm not careful. :(

A road trip sounds very cool. I have no idea where Connellsville is though. I really want to check out that Pianos and Stuff store.

CX210, yeah that's it, after I posted this, I remembered the Bass threads and the numerous threads about gear and did some back tracking.

When you get a chance look it up on map quest so you can get an idea. I'd say it's about 2 1/2 hrs. away from Roaring Spring. I know some shortcuts through some yards that will cut off some travel time.
The shortest distance between two points is a straight line. hahaha!

So pretty much, you are held back by your cabinets, if they are clipping right? Or is that just because the speakers are 10's and not 12's or 15's?

Hey guys. I'd be up for going to Connelsville (been there) or Pianos & Stuff (been there too). Plus I just got a GPS unit. A Sun or Mon is good for me.

Yeah, that would be freakin' cool. I'm going on Christmas break here in a few weeks, so I'll have plenty of free time for a while. We should definitely plan something!

I'm pretty much busy from Sunday-Wednesday, so if you wanna do this on a friday or saturday morning, I'd be up for it.

Big Jim, as long as we have a compass, a canteen, and 4 wheel drive, we'll be ok. It's times like this that makes me wish I had a General Lee.
