"Jackson" by Johnny and June Carter Cash. Oddly enough, you can play a Johnny Cash song anywhere in any venue, and get away with it. People love it.
"Time After Time" by Cyndi Lauper. Split verses and sing together on the chorus.
"The Thrill Is Gone" by BB King. As a duet, it takes on another meaning, not a one-sided complaint, but an admission that love is over... I think it'd be cool.
Hope that helps a little.------>JMS

Song
One song that I always loved was Ozzy and Lita Ford
'If I close My Eyes Forever'
It's a dark song though, but I always liked the passion and feeling in it.

Another song that you could consider as a call-response structure would be It's Still Rock and Roll to Me. Billy Joel sings throughout the whole song, but it's actually two view points that he's singing.
"He's the electric horseman, you better back off!" - old sKool making a reference to the culturally relevant 1979 film.
Actually, there're a lot of songs (More Than Words by example) that have crossing melody/harmony vocals that would be great. Being classic rock, there're a lot of modern bands that you'd be missing on, but might not be bad for the trial of it, such as Lacuna Coil. There's also always putting interesting double-vocal twists on other various songs from the classic rock era. Then, in the true spirit, the aforementioned Close My Eyes Forever is an awesome song to incorporate if you can find a niche for it in the list
