Dude...i can't take much of the Almond Bros. I respect the talent, but I can't hack through the endless...endless jamming. It's train music.
Here's what I'm listening to.....feel free to slam on this, Hurricane.
Firehouse - Firehouse 3
Great White - Greatest Hits...give it another try..these guys can play
Queenscryche - Hear in the Now Frontier
These three are being shuffled around in my CD player.

I have been more into XM radio than any thing but I picked up a few CD's all of which are good. I have a hard time chosing wich one to play. First: Damageplan- New FOund Power- Second: Devil Driver- Third: Probot- Fourth: David Allan Coe-Live at Billy Bob's
My all time favortie Cd which I listen to at least once a week is AC/DC-Powerage.

Lately I've been listening to:
Mahavishnu Orchestra: A best of compilation. (oddly enough, Birds of Fire isn't on it
)
Kid Rock: Devil Without a Cause (the production on this album blows me away)
Anges Gooch: Blind (indie/college rock stuff)
Rush: Chronicles (I just have to listen to my Rush)
Seal: S/T (there are a select few artists who "speak" to me on a higher level, and Seal is one of those few)
I Mother Earth: Scenery and Fish (as I always say, the best band of the 90's that should have been bigger than what they were)
Soundgarden: Superunknown (My Wave, enough said)
Steeley Dan: Aja (no, not the dillusional chick who thinks everyone's a misogynist. It's the cool album with great Dan tracks like Peg and Home at Last)
Various mix cds of songs I had to learn for my gig on Saturday
And a mix cd of ambient/trance music I burned from featured artists at www.iuma.com

ah Queensryche, that reminds me, haven't listened to Rage for Order or Mindcrime in quite a while, I'll have to throw them in soon.
Anyway, here's what's been through my CD player lately:
Iron Maiden - Powerslave
Black Sabbath - Dehumanizer
Iced Earth - The Glorious Burden
Deep Purple - Deepest Purple (Best of...)
Annihilator - Criteria for a Black Widow

Honestly, I haven't had anything in my cd player lately, last albums that were in there was TOOL-Undertow, Staind-14 Shades of Grey, Chevelle-Wonder What's Next, and Nirvana-Nirvana(black album/greatest hits).
Lately I have been listening to the radio waiting to here Hoobastank's The Reason, because I am too cheap to go buy the cd. Damn those booze and women. They always run me too broke to buy things for me other than a night of lost memory.

Yeah, I wasn't happy with the mix on the first Visitor. Some of the tunes turned out alright, but some of the stuff with bigger arrangements, like Long Way Home, just sound cluttered to my ears. Oh well, I guess that's what you get when you record and mix all in the same day.lonewolf wrote:Visitor II -- trying to refine a few tracks.
Visitor III will steal a few tracks from Visitor II and add several new tracks.
