I said along time ago, our government is not perfect but it is the best in the world. Seems like you agree with me.

I have been (in many cases) defending status quo. Welfare, the right to a trial, fiscal responsibility from our government, hardly extreme.

The extreme would be, eliminate welfare, forced labor, and defending a 9 Trillion dollar deficit and let the government put anyone in jail they like, without a trial. That's just plain nuts.

I'm hardly an extremist. The extreemest would be those who believe in forced labor.

If you like forced labor, a no trial system, and a leader with no accountability, move to Russia or China, because you are in alignment with their thinking.

Not at first. At first we should tell them to get a job sorting sporks at taco bell. Then if they refuse, yes let them die. Some people are quadrapelegic(sp?) and have jobs. Survival of the fittest or at least the most ambitious.

While welfare abuse is easy to see, it is not the root cause of high taxes. As I have challenged before, what would you eliminate ? What would it save ? What are the consequences of the elimination for those affected.

You should not be able to recieve assistance of any kind for more than one year. After which you should not be eligible for another ten years.
Gov't/low income housing 1year then your ass is homeless or you move into a tiny one bedroom apt. like a normal person starting out, and work for what you have. Mandatory drug tests on welfare as well. Test hot 3 times, and you're permanently off the system, no help for you. I've seen people with Downs Syndrome working, if they can do it so can you. Get a job you bum. Once a month write a 25 page log of what you did to better your situation and send it to your caseworker. Speaking of caseworkers, those lazy fucks need to work on a commission basis, more bonus for every bum you get back to work after they have worked at one place for 90 days. Didn't get anybody off the system this month. Guess what now you need a caseworker. Whatever maybe I'm a communist. I cannot stand someone who will not work. "I can't find anything I like." Fuck you suck it up. And Those single parents who can't afford to raise their kids should have them taken away. You would take us back in time. Back when disabled and uneducated were forced to beg. My grandmothers use to tell me how normal it was for beggars to come the back porch for a sandwich and a cold drink.

All the cases are different and I'm not privy to any specific case. But they give a month free rent and put them in a small apartment. They then HAVE to find a job. The following month they must pay a portion of the rent. The agency will feed them and cloth them if necessary. All with thew idea of getting them on their feet. If they are leeches playing the system, they are dropped.

If they don't follow the rules, like getting a job, they are dropped from the program.

So much of what you ask for already exists.

Forcing the abled body to get a job of his choosing is what I want. But there are situations where one looks for a job in his field if he was just laid off.
