What mistake is that? Did they cut him? I don't think keeping him around would be a mistake. He's pretty decent, for a backup running back. Someone with experience who can gain yards if, and only if, a hole is there.

I was surprised with cutting Chidi Iuwoma @ first but, really you could see it coming. Once Gay was out on special teams against Carolina and Chidi wasn't, the writing was on the wall because Chidi is only good on special teams.

Oh, and they signed Kendall Simmons to an extension, which is the nail in the coffin for not signing Faneca for sure.

Also, I think they can be 10 - 6, depending all on Roethlisberger though. They have an easy enough schedule and still have a talented team, so 10 - 6 and a playoff berth is very realistic barring 5 turnovers a game. Super Bowl would be nice but, they don't have the horses to run with New England. I'm not sure anyone does really. Here's to hoping Randy Moss causes an implosion.
