Panic Mode calls it quits..

Post by T-Way »

Hey all, well if you havent heard the news yet..
Panic Mode has decided to seperate for some time.

As some of you may know, we were one of the youngest local bands on the scene (ages ranging from 16-19) and with our hectic schedule of work, school, sports, and other activities, we feel that we do not have the time management to keep the band alive.

As the former front man, I'd like to thank all who came to our shows and supported us and enjoyed listening to some great rock music. For our fans, do not fret, perhaps one day, Panic Mode will rise again.

Peace, Love & Rock N' Roll
Stay True

Wow, I'm glad I got out to see you guys at Ace's Music this past Saturday, otherwise I would have missed you altogether!

Good luck with your endeavors, and keep us posted about your future musical happenings.

Ouch, that hurts. We were a local band based out of Ebensburg, we were pretty well known around the area and we were in the 1st Laurel Highlands battle of the bands.

Some of our hits include:
'Sunday Night'
'Blood on the Board'
'Broken Days'
'The New Me'

Members included:
Myself on vocals on keyboards
Christian Brennan on lead guitar
Josh Gallagher on rythme guitar
Chuck Kaufmann on bass
Derek 'Pudge' Gabella on drums

We did a lot of shows with Spirit Lost so if you want to get a better idea, ask them lol

So, yeah, thats Panic Mode

Aw, c'mon, it didn't hurt that bad. I really didn't know if you were a touring band or a local band. I don't get out much.

Rob Halford of Judas Priest is where the Halford comes from.
Spirit Lost gave me the nickname 'halford jr.' after hearing my vocal abilities.

Hey, if you're between the ages of 16 and 19, there's about a 98% chance of a band splitting within a year anyway. There'll be plenty more if you're serious. You gots lots more dues to pay! :D ------->JMS

Hey, the young guys need to know. You've been around long enough to know what it takes, but sometimes the newbs get a bit starry-eyed. I only wish someone had clued me in earlier as to how the business really is... I might have worked a little harder early on. I understand it's all about the dream at that point, but that dream doesn't come true without a lot of ass-busting. Eh, I'm preaching to the choir. You've been around as long as I have, and that ain't no accident.-------->JMS

It is definetly in the dream state, but its always good to hear the preaching. Just gives you that more of a drive to motivate yourself to make the dream a reality.

We became a 5 piece band with the addition of myself after Josh decided he didnt want to sing lead vocals anymore. Christian was the one who called for the break up stating work and school for all of us was too much to maintain the band. We would practice (if we were lucky) once a month.

yeah thats cool, we actually just split and formed two separate bands, but you guys were always reliable when we were looking for someone to help fill a bill, hopefully you guys can get another project together or something, and do you have any recordings or anything with you singing with panic mode, cuz if so id like to hear it

Im not sure what the other guys are doing in terms of other projects. But I am looking to put another band together, if anyone wants to check out the ad its in the classified sections of that forum.

As for a recorded song..

We do have one with me singing on it. Christian had a senior project to do for school and it was to write, perform and record a song that he had written. The song is called 'Before You Go' its more of a power ballad I think, it doesnt show off my 'rock' voice but I still think its pretty good. Its the only one we were able to record before the split.

If you give me you e-mail addy I can send it to you.
