Thank you Bill for inviting us to RFTT concert, all of us had a great time.
Everyone from the bands to all the volunteers worked there buts off to make sure this event top of the line.
The Troops will be proud to serve when they see what hard work RFTT
put into keeping their moral up, phone cards to call home, videos from all the performances, and good wishes from Altoona, PA.
Imagine, people in Altoona taking the time to stop and send well wishes to our troops.
Ya know Billy, with help of some other drummers on PDF you could make this a nationwide organization with satelites all over the USA.
Think big my friend.....think big.....
God Bless....

YankeeRose - Thank you so much for the support!! We're glad that both you and your son liked us.He said he enjoyed all of the GREAT Music he heard. Heh, he also said he REALLY likes Kitty Whip, Smile and asked if I heard them play "I Wanna Be Sedated"...I missed that, Sad but got to hear/see them play enough Tunes that I was indeed impressed!)

I'm just a bass chick trying to stay out of treble.

Note the little girl skipping rope in front of the stage; she almost stole the show from the big girls!

Let me know if I got any band names swapped, as I didn't take the photos of some of the bands myself and had to just rely on the schedule for the names.
Also, anyone who wants a full size image (3456x2304 3mb size), let me know.
Rock on!

A few days later, it's just starting to sink in . Since the beginning in February and March the adventure has been great. So many people stepped up to the plate for RFTT. It's been a humbling experience.
I was never good at asking / begging, for people to volunteer, but when I had to do it........so many Rockpagers and friends said, "Yes".
Mike Borstner. I had never met or talked to Mike (mjb) in my life before the initial thread about soldiers in Iraq. Mike was the very first one to call me . Mike is a veteran. He said the Rockpage thread was coming up with good ideas and he wanted to help make it happen. I now have a new friend for life ! He is a hard, behind the scenes worker. We can credit Mike with keeping the RFTT concert on time. He was the volunteer stage manager for the concert.
I could go on, but, thank you Mike !
Kevin Siegel. The "voice" of RFTT. Kevin and I were acquaintances. He was the second one to call me. The first thing he said to me was "Let's set up a meeting with Mike". And we did, on a cold winter snowy evening at a bar and grill in Ebensburg. We boiled down the Rockpage ideas into a workable plan. Another hard worker for RFTT, we turned from acquaintances to good friends.
Again, I could go on, thank you Kevin !
These two guys devoted many hours and ideas to RFTT and they always made themselves available when they were needed. They personified the word "volunteer".
Next I need to thank my wife Cathy, she puts up with me ! and she also helped work the RFTT banner table sometimes.
Donna aka (Yank, but only to me) YankeeRose. Donna was as passionate about RFTT as any of us. She became the "go to" helper. Whenever we needed help, she was there for us. She also headed up advertising for the RFTT concert. Calling the Mirror. Working with Amy Charltor to get the poster / flyer. And many more behind the scenes things.
Thank you Donna !
And then there are the wonderful friends who answered the call when I called for help, sometimes at the last minute. Rob Bonsel. Ed Mervine. Harry Walters. These (yes they are still friends even after I took advantage of their friendship) guys stepped up when I needed help at any RFTT show. If something needed done, they went out of there way to be at a show for RFTT.
Thanks guys !
Jim Price. Whose support is always welcomed. The greatest friend central PA musicians could have for his passion, love and support for LIVE MUSIC !
Thanks to all of the Rockpagers who left me start so many RFTT threads and never flamed me !
I'm going to take a break now, have some coffee, but I have many more people to thank. And the fact that there are so many people to thank is a tribute to how many people worked together for a common cause ! That is a blessing ! Rockpage just plain ROCKS !

Ok, anyone who wants to download the pictures for your website, go here:
http://www.4shared.com/file/24149194/73 ... Tpics.html
(If that doesn't work, try this http://files-upload.com/files/499434/RFTTpics.zip (link expires after 14 days))
In the middle of the page click Download file (takes a second or two to load)
The pics are resized to 691 x 461 pixels.
If you want full resolution pictures (like for press kits or wallpaper, let me know which ones you want.)
PLEASE don't link to my pictures on the previous link, upload the ones from the zip to your website!
Thanks =)

Thanks for the pics 'bfoust' and thanks for the help after the concert. Always remember, you were the 'Bolt Keeper'! I would have just lost them somewhere 'cause I was a zombie by that time.
Great pictures by the way. We'll have to talk cameras someday. It used to be my 2nd hobby.
Cheers!
