Missing PM?

My account is set to e-mail me when a Private Message arrives. A PM notification came today, but when I signed in there was no message. Anyone else had a problem like that? (Is it possible to unsend a PM?)

Yes Jimi, you can cancel a PM. No worries, it was probably just a booty PM from some super model.
... and then the wheel fell off.

cool, I'm glad I'm not the only one thinking I'm losing my mind. This has happened to me at least 3 times. I get an email saying I have a PM, but then I log in to Rockpage and nothing is there!
