So there is this traffic light here in e-town that when coming from the side street onto main street only stays green for like 4 1/2 seconds....my girl is trying to turn left, and as we all do, she pulls up and waits her turn...the light is yellow...so she goes....the FUCKING COP!!!! goes AROUND the cars behind her GOES THROUGH THE FUCKIN' RED LIGHT and pulls HER over for "running a red light" IT WAS FUCKIN' YELLOW, AND HOW ELSE ARE YOU SUPPOSED TO TURN LEFT AT A LIGHT THAT STAYS GREEN FOR 4 1/2 SECONDS?????????? FUCKIN COPS!!!!!!!!

I'm not sure I understand this. She makes a left while the light is yellow?
As I understand it and I'm a professional CDL driver in the state of Pa, If you're in an intersection and you're going to make a left hand turn but you need to wait for traffic to pass, you are to pull up to the center of the intersection and wait until the light changes to red and then proceed with your left hand turn.
I did it on Friday in Ebensburg in front of a cop and he gave me a thumbs up. If you have your story strait, tell your old lady to fight it.

Sounds like cop was bored (if you have your story straight, which I can believe). I always pull into the center of the intersection when attempting a left turn across traffic, that way when the red light comes on (people always say, "when the light turns red," which doesn't happen ... the green light turns off and then a completely different red light turns on) I can safely proceed with my turn. I'm pretty sure that's a legal manuever, but I could be wrong. I've done that in front of 5-0 many times and have never been pinched for it.
