I'm going to warped tour instead.
Bad Religion, Killswitch Engage, Poison The Well, Throwdown, Flogging Molly way better than Washed up Ozzy and bands I've either seen many times or never heard of with a bunch of retarded fans who are only there cuz it's free.

I was thinking about going to warped tour, but I've seen Bad Religion 3 times, and I've seen Flogging Molly, and I couldn't possibly care about everyone else.
I checked the schedule a few months ago and alkaline trio wasn't playing any dates that flogging molly was also playing. If all three were there, I'd go.
$40 is too much when I only care about 2 bands.

the warped tour sounds like it has a great lineup...as far as ozzfest is concerned, I'm pretty much sick of the osbournes, and have basically no idea who the bands are on the bill...nor do I care, really.
And plus, after what his idiot whife did to Iron Maiden a few years back, lets just say thats not behavior I'd like to support.

I love their wit.
Mitch, tix are $30, plus they have Skateboarding and Mexican Lucha Libre wrestling going on with 50+ bands. Def. worth it. I wish Alkaline trio, and Pennywise were there though.

Ozzy's wife showed SERIOUS disrespect to Maiden. Too bad they never tour the states anymore....

The only bands I care about on the ozzfest bill is Behemoth, Nile, and Lamb of God. I'm not making the drive for 3 bands I care about for FREE which would be early in the morning. It'd be just a giant clusterfuck. More so a clusterfuck than it already is when you do pay, and then the beer and other novelties are $20 cup/$50 tshirt.

$haron has needlessly stepped on many feet throughout her/Ozzy's career. After how much she fucked over Bob Daisley, I don't have time for her or her lame concert lineups. I don't respect anyone who fucks over hard-working musicians. She just made herself look like a total ass with the Iron Maiden incident. Much kudos to Bruce and the gang for handling the bullshit like they did. Sharon may always have the trendy sheeple scene kids to keep her empire afloat, but I guarantee that she alienated a ton of real music fans with those babygames.grimmbass wrote:Ozzy's wife showed SERIOUS disrespect to Maiden. Well, the story i heard was that Maiden was pissed at Ozzy because he kept cancelling shows, and they were not being silent about it either, if you catch my drift so to get back at them Sharon -during one or several of their perfomances, I can't remember which- cut off their power, planted a bunch of people in the audience to chant "Ozzy", and then got those people to throw a bunch of raw eggs at the band, all this while they were on stage trying to play.undercoverjoe wrote:I have heard of a few things Sharon has done and dissed. Yep, I've heard the same thing. That's a damn shame too. Maiden was there as part of the festival supporting Ozzy and Sharon, while they could have been doing their own thing, and this happens to them. They were more than likely one upping Ozz every night and Sharon got jealous.
I'm not going to Ozzfest this year that's for sure. There's not much interesting going on there. And I live by the adage, that you get what you pay for.
It's free, so you aren't getting much.

Laugh if you want to, really is kinda funny, 'cause the world is a car and you're the crash test dummy.
