Ever want to know something, but not?
Ever want to know something, but not?
This idea is based on a recent situation in my life. I'm not gonna get into details, it's personal. But it makes me wonder... How many times have we gone through life where we want to know something, but because of the devistating impact, or at least the blood smeared all over someone's walls and maybe the possible jail time we'd do, we were keeping the question locked up?
You know what I mean. The question burns inside, but still, you know there will be major changes

Been there many times!.....Here's my rule of thumb:
Whether you know or not doesn't correct what has happen.
10% is the problem, 90% is how you let it effect you.
"It's only as hard on YOU as YOU let it be."
Things happen for a reason, you won't understand why now so don't dwell on it. It will pan out in the future. I have had this happen many times.
Sometimes we have to have s%^$y days to appreciate the good days....Same goes with people and relationships... We have to meet A-holes to appreciate the good people.
Remember what you just read and Good Luck Bro!

I can't keep shit locked up, nor would I want to.
All I do in a situation, like you're explaining is prepare for the worst possible outcome and usually it never lives up to my expectations (in a good way). Like Trucula said, it's how you let things affect you.
I may not be the best example, as I am not the most compassionate dude.
And sometimes I am thankful for that.

even though I probably already know exactly what this questions deals with or at least know the person that it deals with, I'm still gong to add my $.02.
I think that if its someone you care about your duty is to that person and their well being at least while everything is going on. If your actions (re: killing and maiming as you alluded to) or if delving too deeply into this situation will result into firther emotional damage for this person then I think that you need to just let it go and remeber that a person you care about needs a good friend more than anything right now.
um...I hope this helped some

Naga, what Trucula said, and also, do not give anyone who hurt you the satisfaction of ever doing a thing to get yourself in major trouble. ( ..."blood smeared"...
) The system is not kind, and any way, everyone would think, "poor them". (See Lonewolf's disclaimer regarding the latter half of the preceeding paragraph.
)
The fact you're basically talking about what ever is bothering you is great! Most guys would rather put their nads through a meat grinder than talk about feelings...the other f word.

Sounds like chick problems. It happens...
Word of advice, especially if it IS in fact chick trouble:
Never EVER EVER make it sound like you're going to kill or hurt someone. First, it's obviously not worth doing.
Second, anything you say (especially in print) can and will be held against you in a court of law. Whether you mean it or not. I can't stress it enough, you might think it's a figure of speech, but the authorities and the court will turn it into the manaical ravings of a psychotic killer. Ask anyone who's divorced.
Finally, it's not so manly. I know you just want to get it off your chest, but on here it just sounds like drama. Sorry, I'm not being insensitive, just realistic.
I firmly believe all the bad stuff that happens to me, happens so I have something to write songs about. Do that.
