Flight 19 would like to announce the 'retirement' of our Bassist Jim "Bimmy" Phillips.
Bim has decided to take a well deserved break from playing live. We wish Bimmy the best of luck, and look forward to dragging him out to party with us as often as we can.

We have hooked up with an excellent replacement for Jim; Sean Johnson frontman and bassist for the band Electric Blue. Sean has been rehearsing with the band for the last several weeks, and will be sitting in with us on Saturday Nite @ the Castle

We will be taking a few weeks off to finish mastering our upcoming EP "Pumpkin Fogger" recently recorded at Data Music in Altoona.

We will be hitting the stage again in late May.

When did Electric Blue break up??? I missed something here. I didn't know they split up!! Damn.

As far as I know, Electric Blue didn't break up

Electric Blue, to my best knowledge, is still together. I know they have been playing infrequentlly in recent months due to the various band members attending school.

Seanson doing double-duty in both bands will be a cool thing.

Sorry to hear about Jim retiring! I always enjoyed him playing! Great news with Seanson joining, congrats! Someone new for BT to totally corrupt, LOL!! :roll:
