If you could go back in time...

My friends and me were talking about this at lunch during work, and the question was, If you could go back in time, what century or decade would you choose, and why? There were some funny answers, but also alot of great ones. I said that if I could choose when I wanted to live that I'd choose the 19...

I'm not certain if this was a smart move or merely a copycat type of play. This election has been the craziest one in our time probably. You know the delegates should be more mature and leave the home life out of the business life. It just seems childish and immature to allow this election to come t...

Haha, no problem here friend, it takes alot more than that to get under my skin. Besides if you can't roll with the punches then you're not really having a good time. We're all here to have fun and good conversation, right? And the answer to your question: Heck no! Strangler's geez, that's hilarious...

Or trade some of Uncle Jesse's crawdad bisque.

Sorry, I couldn't resist that one, with you guys making references to my screen name and the show all of the time. I guess I have it coming because this was a standout screen name to use.

Re: Ready to suffer some more?

I got 400 gallons of heating oil yesterday for the meager fee of $1751.60. $4.37 a gallon. Geez o Pete's that's alot of money right there. How long do you think that will last you? I have electric heat and my bill might jump to $150 more than usual during the winter months. I keep most rooms that I...

Well, I've never had a bad breakup with any band that I was in luckily. It was mostly conflict of schedules, and some relocation issues as some have stated. I'll tell you though I have heard some nightmarish stories about other bands. I would never wish to be in a situation like that.

Yes this has happened to me also. My wife and I were on our way back from South Carolina. I believe that it was a $0.24 difference in price. I mean what can you do when you only have plastic and you need to fill up? If I had known that prior, I would have gone to an ATM. It is sickening that this ki...

Yes, that was an interesting story. Can you all imagine if things happened differently? It's safe to say that music would not be the same. And it's doubtful that rock n roll would have been impacted differently.

My song for the summer is an old one actually. It is 38 Special "Caught up in you". I pretty much play it non-stop to and from work and it hasn't gotten old to me yet. Just one of those classic songs that you've heard many times before and then you kind of re-discover it. It is a great song!

That was a great show for sure! I remember watching that when it was on air. Those were some funny replies there, JMichaels! I was laughing so hard. I really like one liners and a dry sense of humor.

I always thought of playing with a band on the edge of the Grand Canyon would be cool as heck. Not sure if the acoustics would sound all that good or not?
Or someplace out in the desert would be equally as exciting to me.

And no, not the Boar's Nest either guys!!

I'm going to say Don Henley or Joe Walsh. I just love The Eagles and also Walsh's solo releases. They have so much talent in that band.

Waylon Jennings and my Uncle Jesse hahaha! I'm Kidding! Probably Eric Clapton, Buddy Guy, Stevie Ray Vaughn, and Dave Gilmour. I learned alot from listening to them growing up. There's not much of that style and sound in todays music anymore, and I think we all have alot to learn from the forefathers...

It's not only you, I get the same satisfaction when listening to live music. It somehow makes the hustle and bustle of everyday life go by the wayside, which leaves only you and the music. It's nice to have the companionship of good friends to share in the experience. My pal Buddy Weiser and his part...
