KMD 200 Watt Bass Combo

KMD Brand GS200B Bass Amp. I'm the original owner of this amp and have the original manual. Other than it being heavy, this is a great gigging amp. I've used it for almost 20 years gigging in bars between college and post college days. It has one 15" speaker which I replaced in 2004 with a Peav...

Fret Replacement

Anyone know of anyone who's good a replacing frets? I have an old acoustic I want to get done. I was considering doing it myself, but don't have the time (or skill likely) to take on that project.

Ear Plugs

Dr. Brandt (I think was her name) in Johnstown made me a custom pair back in the late '90s. They were $100 then and have been the absolute best investment. I'm not playing much at the time and didn't really need them during my acoustic gig, but my time in bands made them worthwhile. They're like a h...

"I Stay Away" - Alice in Chains "One" - Metallica. (One of my first bands had it down really close in rehearsals, but we didn't have the balls to try and pull it off live) On a side note, when I was living and playing in South Carolina, there was a band called "Psych Ward.&q...

I always dug all three DOTN albums. I've seen them twice live and yes, he is an asshole. It's a shame he can't get his shit together, he is quite talented. Interesting fact, the guys that left DOTN after the first album and formed Tantric are actually no longer with Tantric. The only original member...

I've been listening to the song over and over trying to really decide how I feel about it. I'm not a die hard Metallica fan, nor am I a hater, so I think I have a real unbiased opinion on it. 1. James vocals don't seem to work real well. He once could scream and growl. Now he squeaks. Unfortunately,...

2 things (Jim Price/Attn: Acoustic Singers/Songwriters)

Sorry Folks, I'm cramming two things into one post here, but I'm short on time these days. Ah yes, from South Florida to Myrtle Beach, to the rat race of the D.C./Metro area. What was I thinking???? 1. Thanks so much to Jim Price for the kind review of my album, "Long Road Home." Just the ...

Hmmm

I'm a pretty big Cornell fan. I liked Rage a lot when I was younger and still listen to them when I'm on the mood or in the gym. Morello did do some amazingly weird and creative stuff. I liked him for that. Timmy and Tom were/are one hell of a rhythm section. I think Zach fit the group better. His e...

A few tunes from "Long Road Home" are on my myspace if anyone's interested. Hope Road has some of Jimi Hatt's amazing guitar work.

One of my old drummers used to wear girls jeans. They were still too big for him or something. He had to cut a notch further in the wasteband for the button to go through.

Additional info:

It isn't jittery when I'm listening to a myspace track. I did run the virus scan and the spyware scan. Nothing.

Every once in a while, it seems to check the DVD drive too even though there's nothing in the player.
