Gorillas and United Parcel Smashers
What do gorillas and UPS have in common? Gorillas must work there partime.
I have shipped many items by ups over the years and it seems to me they treat packages like trash. The first thing that comes to my mind is a commercial from years ago with a gorilla beating up a suitcase. This commercial was to prove how tough this suitcase was. I don't recall the name.
Latley I've gotten packages with look like that gorilla tossed them around for a while.
I received a amp toady via United Parcel Smashers the front of the unit is busted up and the rack mounting surfaces are bent to the point I doubt it can be mounted in a rack.
Not long age I had some itell lights shipped They where destroyed in shipping.
I shipped out a couple of speakers to a reconer for repair the frames where broken in shipping.
I've gotten to the point that I double box eveything.
Has anyone else had these experiances.
I'm going to start requesting shippment by someone other than UPS because of this.
I've shipped by US mail and the packages seem to fair better, the same thing with fedex. Maybe that was just a coincidence?

hey i work at UPS and you would be surpised how people handle packages at UPS. Personally when i worked in the unload "unloading trailers' the jack asses would put 70 lbs boxes on top of halogen lights. It isn't everyone that does that but there are alot of jackasses that work there. That is why they are doing the grunt work. You dont have to think. I load the trucks in the morning.
