Newman's Dead?!

Post by DMFJ03 »

For those of you who did not make it out to see Otto's last show with The Grimm missed out on one of the greatest night in local music history. Not only did Da Brothers play a selection of awesome original music, the mayhem insued with surprises, prizes, and very touching moments. I am not going to say what these included, because you just needed to be there. Great show last night, guys, I'll never forget it.

Now...

Here is a question that can be thrown out to the masses. How many of you here have been invited to join The Grimm for breakfast? For those of you who have, you understand the type of craziness that goes on. As JP said in a previous post - it all stays at the Grimm's table. Well, alright...just a small taste...

"What, Newman died?" "An armidillo and Gojo" "The business end of a Louisville Slugger" "I can't believe the clarity of these calls!" and finally the "Ass Sweat Puppets Show."

Thank you everyone for last night. Lisa and I haven't had a great time like that in what seems ages (or the last Grimm breakfast) See you all again very soon.

As a Grimmette I have attend many breakfast(s) at The Grimm table! And I assure you all it is just something You Must Experience For Yourself!!!! Words can't explain what goes on there and it definately must be approached with an open mind, b/c no-one EVER KNOWS what will be discussed! But I have never left disappointed! :D

Jamie and Lisa... I'm sure I speak for all of us when I say, it was a pleasure having both of you at breakfast last night. And ummm.... Lisa you may want to keep an eye on how many paint chips Jamie is consuming.... not sure but it may be affecting him???? :?

You know, I try and try and try to keep him away from the paint chips and it just ain't working. At least I've got him to go after the non- lead based paint now. It's an improvement, no matter how slight.
The real trick is to keep him from huffing exhaust pipes. It's sad. I remember it took me forever to get him to unwrap his lips from Bobby Lee's pipe... He just didn't want to give it up.. that was the first night we came to see the Grimm's... It's kind of sad. But, you know I love him...so I'll support him in his time of need...

He does get relatively excited over ass soup.. and the thought of ass sweat puppets generally sends him over the edge. So...that should be fun. Will the A/c be on full blast?

::puts on her training wheels and looks hopefully at the other Grimmettes:: Teach me wise ones! I want to learn!!! And I come with croughtons for your unwet salads!!!!!!!

First off.... sorry Jamie for the flash back, I'm sure that was pretty scary for ya! Try more dirt... it might help your speech (and I hear that if you mix it w/ Bob's ass sweat properly - it improves your IQ - so you might want to think about that!!!)

Second.... we are honored that you all would like to be a part of our illustrious, yet small group, but to be honest the guys made us who we are and gave us our name (not to mention JP as well....) and we have showed allot of Love, Support, and Commitment to our Grimm Boyz over the past 7/8 years... we are a tight family and have a solemn vow to The Grimm (past and present). Now I'm not saying you can't be a Grimmette.... I'm just saying we are a special group of gals! And the Board of Directors have the FINAL VOTE! :D

1st step

Post by Imgrimm01 »

1st step to being a grimmette is showing complete devotion to the band, making it to atleast 3 out of every 5 shows ( even the ones 3 hours away) , fetchin water and other beverages to the stage during sets, aiding in the application of make up and nail polish , helping me (drunk) to my room at 5 am and knowing that since I'm this drunk you cannot take advantage of me this day and much much more ... So get started and prove yourself and it is a possibility that you could make the sisterhood.
I'm glad I didn't have to fight in a war, I'm glad I didn't get killed or kill somebody, I hope my kids enjoy the same lack of manhood

I shall pray, take my vitamins, and promise to promote the Grimm. I will try to make it to as many shows as I can (I have devotion to one other band, so once they get up and running again, I will be sharing time between the group). And.. I'm great with nail polish, eyeliner and wenching drinks...I'm not quite sure where you live..but 5 a.m. taking you homes sound great and.. I will promise to not take advantage of you...however I cannot be held responsible for Jamie taking advantage of you.... And my camera is always yours.

I may have not been there from the beginning..but I'm here now. So I shall do my best to make y'all proud. And even if I'm not permitted admittance, I shall still harass Bobby Lee to the best of my abilities...

one member of the board has spoken.... as you can see, its a tough job, but someone has to keep these guys in line! :D

although Big Pappa did leave some other duties out (get your mind out of the gutter).... exp: getting directions for all out of town gigs, plus enough copies for everyone, working the merchandise/promoting table, helping build and put together the merchandise box, helping set up VERY IMPORTANT gigs! getting (cheap) hotel rooms for everyone, having to witness some very bizzare activity, providing necessities... (munchies, beer, and ice), having the beer cold and ready (chilling in the tub), finding local music stores for anyone who forgot to bring extra strings, finding a place to eat: breakfast. lunch, and dinner, sewing anything that may need mended (I won't even mention what....), along with making a bag for Bob's Big Bag Of Stuff (we won't mention what happened to that bag), of course as mentioned, dealing w/ their drunk ass - repeated the stories b/c they are drunk and not willingly knowing when to let us go to bed! Not to mention.... being a therapyst, psychologist, fake girlfriend, sound check person, babysitter, water girl, and many, many other titles! Plus I am sure I am missing soooo.... many other things!

So you see, its not just attending shows.... anyone can do that! We Grimmettes go beyond the call of duty and LOVE EVERY MINUTE OF IT!!!!! :D

And these tasks could not be done for a nicer bunch of guys!!!!!! :D

Love Ya!
