Pay to Play clubs

Has anyone played a pay to play club before? i did once at "Obsessions" in New Jersey (the god-forbidden state). It sucked ass. We had to sell so many tickets to play and the club wasnt even that great. We ouselves saw no money whatsoever and were treated like sh*t by the owner b4 we kikked his ass and left. Anyone else play one of these scammy places?

P.S. Who else lives by "What happens on the road, stays on the road" Im hoping everyone says they do, lol.

we did once, and will never again....unless its the $75,000 it costs to get on Ozzfest, if you don't win a reality show that is....

The Whiskey, FM Station, Gazzari's, all pay to play. You have to bring a crowd. We never had to pay out of our own pocket but it was a bitch. Wandering up and down the strip with a bag of weed and a drunken guitar player is awesome!

There is a great club in the San Fernando Valeey called Mancini's and they never did pay to play. It was a hotspot but none of the strip clubs would play there...
