I turned our Nady power amp on the other day and the red protect light came on, we pushed it a little more than we should have I guess but the fuse isn't blown so can anyone help me with a quick fix or some advice. I did just post an add for a bigger power amp but still need to use this one if possible. Any help is appreciated.

Get a bass boat and use the Nady for an anchor.SkeezerBoy wrote:I turned our Nady power amp on the other day and the red protect light came on, we pushed it a little more than we should have I guess but the fuse isn't blown so can anyone help me with a quick fix or some advice. well put jeff.
your gonna have to take it to get looked at. you shorted something somewhere. i have learned a painful lesson recently. buy once and cry once. i bought a couple of behringer amps about a 2 years ago and had the same problem. being 2 years old i thought it would be a simple fix. needless to say both are smoked. if i would have spent another 250 per amp i wouldn't have to be buying new ones now.

you can prick your fingure, but never fingure your.............get your mind outta the gutter.

+1 It will kick the Nady's ass on all fronts. You don't need to spend a small fortune on a Macro-Tech to get a good power amp, but the cheap entry levels are good for running the Optimus Radio Shack cabs for the church hoagie raffle and nothing more.SkeezerBoy wrote:Thanks guys, I feel better about ditchin' the fucker and getting a Mackie.
