Either keyboard playback sampling rate problem or gutar tuned to Eb instead of E. Nonetheless. Epic fail.

What was the loud buzzing noise? It was almost like the device used to record the show couldn't handle it. So that would account for some of the failing. I'm not defending it, it does sound bad.

The "buzzing" noise - that's dissonance.

It has nothing to do with the recording device.

This was a screw up of who ever tuned the guitar. Or possibly a technical problem with the playback of a recording of the keyboards - though I've seen other pictures of this event and there is clearly a keyboard player side stage somewhere. No matter, it was a royal catastrophe.

What I wonder is whether or not any of the musicians on stage noticed. If they were wearing IEMs and their mix just did not have much of the other instruments in it, it would be very hard to tell who was out and who was in.
