Legalize the herb
Legalize the herb
Ron Paul and Barney Frank introduced a bill to legalize the herb and let states make the laws.

If you are a parent and let your kid smoke anything at age 14, you should never have had children in the first place. The article did not include any facts about the study, so cannot judge validity.RobTheDrummer wrote:http://www.parentdish.com/2011/03/03/ma ... disorders/
How about all the studies that marijuana benefits sick people like glaucoma patients and all the people suffering from cancer treatments. Marijuana seems to be the best thing for them, better than all the approved medications, but no one can make fortunes if cancer patients get a benefit from a simple weed.
Unless you want to see this site @4am one fine morn don't do drugs.

Pretty sure theyd sell it like they do tobacco products. No one under 18 and taxed like a motherfucker.

Still better than filling up prisons with mj tokers. I prefer a decriminalization, but letting the states make the laws is way better than the federal government ruling everything.slackin@dabass wrote:RobTheDrummer wrote:http://www.parentdish.com/2011/03/03/ma ... disorders/

I agree 100%. But i doubt a cut for 30 bucks will be a thing of the past. Just rhink how much the states could make by taxing it. Think how much money the fed wasted on ceiminalizing weed alone. Damn thatll let our wallets stay a litle more full.

A federal repeal probably wouldn't make much difference to Pennsylvania.
How many people do you know that got busted by the FBI or DEA?
Even though that may be true, the feds need to repeal this and several other laws that are only redundant to state law.
i.e. every state has a murder statute....why would the feds need one?

I can't wait to see the reply. I seriously doubt that Prince William de Flounder is very receptive to this idea...but stranger things have happened.undercoverjoe wrote:Good idea, I just sent off an email to Shuster.RamRod 1 wrote:Ya wanna help? I added a bit about State's rights. That might work, but I doubt he even knows what that means.lonewolf wrote:I can't wait to see the reply. 500,000 in prison for drug offenses. What does that cost us at an average of $30,000 or more per year to incarcerate them?RobTheDrummer wrote:I don't know one guy in jail for smoking weed.....undercoverjoe wrote:Still better than filling up prisons with mj tokers. If one does something to themselves and it harms no one else, why should they go to jail for that?faster pussycat wrote:Uh, i will play the devil's advocate here. should every drug be legal or you just rooting for drug of choice? Its when junkies start breaking into cars and homes to feed their addiction that this becomes a problem. Thats the problem with "the florida" law. Used to be a problem in tyrone with the pill poppers and junkies. They think its worth the risk of getting a shotgun in their face to try and rob peoples medicine cabinets and steal tvs and whatnot. Thats the one thing i agreed with hawk on the florida law but taxpayers still shouldnt fund drug addicts addictions. Im all for legalizing weed. I dont see how its worse than alcohol or cigarettes except that its nowhere near as dangerous as either one.
