Okay guys and girls, here's something to do while you're trying to stay warm in this early winter weather.
These are songs that were done by more than one artist, so who do you think has the better version? Be honest, you must have heard each song, and just because it might be your favorite band, doesn't mean they do a better job! Have fun! And feel free to add to the list!!!

Desperado:Eagles, Linda Rondstat

She Came In Through The Bathroom Window & With A Little Help From My Friends: The Beatles, Joe Cocker

Darkness Darkness: The Youngbloods, Robert Plant

Sweet Home Chicago: Clapton, Foghat

Crossroads (live versions) Clapton, Lynyrd Skynyrd

Gimmee Shelter: Rolling Stones, Grand Funk Railroad

You Keep Me Hanging On: Vanilla Fudge, Supremes

Piece Of My Heart: Janis Joplin, Faith Hill

Hey! Thanks for responding! I agree with most of your picks, also. Glad you chose Grand Funk for Gimme Shelter and The Youngbloods for Darkness, Darkness. Wasn't sure if very many people ever heard Foghat's live version of Sweet Home Chicago. I kinda like what other artists do with songs normally associated with the original or more popular bands. Wish someone would do something with Freebird and Stairway to Heaven! Ooops----sorry!
