An amazing song, about an amazing guitarist, written by an equally amazing guitarist. R.I.P. Dimebag

Yes I think so. At least I know the video is dedicated to dimebag anyway. I actually played the venue he was killed at "Alrosa Villa" in Columbus Ohio. I had mixed feelings about that. On one hand I thought it was really cool that I was on the same stage as him. On the other hand it was kinda a downer knowing that it was also the same stage where he was killed. You will be forever missed, as both a musician, and from what I heard, as one of the coolest dudes you'd ever meet.

maybe they saved the song at the end with that guitar moneyshot but i found myself fastforwarding thru the boredom

gotta give it a "5" out of 11

I'm sure the concept was to share the emotion he had for a lost friend. That's what I got from it....mission accomplished.

I just can't stand the way he sings, however I agree that it's a good tune.

The song was written before Dime was killed. That said it has become a live BLS staple that Zakk says will never leave the set.....so it has become Dime's song. The Mafia studio cut is lame in comparison to Zakk's heartfelt live destruction of this song.Check it out.

Thanks for the history of this song, I honestly didn't know if he wrote it for Dime...or just used it as a tribute. Either way I still love the song, and think the video really enhances the emotion he was trying to capture. 2 thumbs up.

I have seen them live once and they were awesome!! But you can tell it's Zakk's band because he was WAY louder than everyone else.
