Do you go out to hear local bands when you're not playing ?

Do you usually stay within your favorite genre ?

If you go out, is it on weekends or weeknights ?

We ask people to support live music. I'm afraid some of you might be afraid to admit you don't get out to hear other bands much, but be honest. I know some friends who, when they're not playing, like to stay home for a change. Nothing wrong with recharging the batteries.

Personally, I do get out occasionally, mostly to go hear someone I know. I enjoy benefits when ever I can because I like the mix of genres.

mainly a time issue, i use two evenngs a week for practice, and with having a 4 year old and all the family stuff going on all the time and working weekends, just don't leave much time. i'm not 20 anymore, those were the days .......... but, i'd like to get out and see more bands and be more supportive, ehh, i do what i can. i know one thing, i'll be at the hurricanes/ nighthawks show!

Normally for me, its thursday nights and saturday nights. Some friday nights i do - but it always depends on if i have work on saturday morning. Coaching Elem Basketball has taken a toll on me going out recently - but thats ending soon :D

I also normally go see people i know. Mainly because i'm normally alone - and i dont wanna be at a bar alone with strange people haha.

i love live music. nough said. lol.

i d like to see more live local music but i gotta travel so far to see an ORIGANAL band. i m paying money to listen to a jukebox band. ( no offence) i lovve watching my friends rock out with their bands though. and i think people should go watch local music and support the scene. ROCK ON!!!!!!!!
