Got Pedals

Post by BloodyFingers »

I was just wondering what pedals everyone uses and what order you have them hooked together.

I use :
1. Boss RT-20
2. Boss DD-20
3. Korg AX3G In that order
4. My Amp with the pre gain at 10.

When I am recording I throw in a Morley Tripler. I use #1 output as a super clean guitar channel so i can play around with Guitar Rig 2 on the computer. #2 then goes to the Boss RT-20

from guitar to amp:
Morley bad Horsie 2 wah
Tuner pedal

Effects Loop:
Boss ch-1 chorus
MXR Carbon Copy delay
MXR Smart gate

I'm pretty simplistic..delay, chorus, & wah seem to be all I need. I'm not really interested in anything else.

just recently bought my first pedals.

Stage 3 Booster - British Invasion Series
Bardel Love Drive Pedal

I love both of these pedals - gives me great loud clean sound and the love drive pedal will give me some distortion.

www.barrysguitarstuff.com (he built 'em) they sound great! :D

I have a Boss GT-6 I used for gtr stuff. I dont use it much anymore as I dont play live anymore. For my demos I record I use ampsims. such as: Nick Crow's 8505, LePou's Solo C, & Line 6 Gearbox. Always with Cabinet Impulses instead of the cab simulation. You get a much more real sound that way.

In the effects loop of the Tech21 RBI it goes:

Boss ME50B
Boss ODB3 Overdrive
Boss DS1 Keeley
and later in the year, an Earthbound OSC Beast :)

I'm still trying to figure out what grit I like best. then it'll be on to find the best chorus.

Heard Barry's pedals recently... he builds them point-to-point on a breadboard. The overdrive was very tasty, nice sparkly hi-mids, and you can't believe the price. I hope to get one before he wises up! --->JMS

spector euro (thnx moondoggy!)>tuner>electro harmonix micro POG> boss bass chorus (which i hate. too digital. anyone know of a good analog bass chorus?)> tech 21 programmable bass driver di (plugged to the F.O.H.)> a fender rumble 100.

for bass, the best thing ever is the bass driver di. they sound awsome and are easy to use. i've never heard a soundman say they hate them... at least not yet... i hope not ever...

Oh yeah, that was for guitar. For bass there's nothing on the floor but a tuner.
