Band T-Shirts
Yesterday I wore my brand spankin' new Embalmed T-shirt to work, and I got like 2 dozen complements*. Everyone was saying how much of a badass I looked like*, how cool I am* and how I must get all the girls*. So I told them, if they wanted that look as well, all they needed was a measly $10.00 to get one just like it! So go check out the Embalmed and get yourself one, so you TOO can be compelled by hoof and horn. Hell up!
So how many of you consistently wear local bands T-shirts? I wear at least 2 a week to work...I have a lot of band shirts...
*some details were exaggerated for dramatic effect.

I try to have Bad Daze or Lies, Inc. across my chest when I can....that is, until we get our own Rapid Fire shirts!

I want to get a Lies, Inc. shirt and a FedUp shirt; however, everytime I see Kent or Dax, they're on back order, and I haven't seen FedUp in quite a while.
Though, I do rock Lies, Inc, The Emblamed, and Naildriver stickers on my rack (the rack with musical equipment bolted into it, not the other kind of rack). Kenny and I side-wash the stage with our rigs, so I give those bands a little free advertisement on our gigs due to the stickers facing the audience.

I wear them all the time.
If I wanted to, I could wear a different Felix and The Hurricanes' shirt every day of the week, and still other ones as nightshirts.
I have one each from Rusty Gun Revival and Tony Mollick Project, 3 or 4 from the Hoedowns (with various Band names on the back), and look forward to adding Embalmed, FedUP and Lies, Inc. to my closet/wardrobe. (FedUp's sticker is also on my car.
)
Edit: National Bands too???
A few ABB, Eagles (a friend bought it for me), G3 (a dude sold it to me outside the show for $5), Men At Work (too small now
), Porcupine Tree (bought it from their site), several Skynyrd and waaay too many other non-concert Band/Artist shirts to mention.

I have a Guns n' Roses shirt from the debut tour. Yeah, it's holey as fuck, but I copensated when I bought it. I knew I would have it twenty years...so I got it a couple sizes bigger (because of my growing beer gut) and I hardly ever wash it (so it doesn't thin out...it has though). So, nine chances out of ten if you see me in it, it's dirty. ~SnOOge!

I have a few Thin Ice shirts, a never-worn Hurricanes "picture" shirt, and a Hurricanes tie-dye that I make a point to wear when I'm vacationing in far-off lands. I also have a Lone Wolf, Mt City Grass, and .OO Buck tee each, and a few styles of Mama Corn shirts, though I don't wear those much...
Which leads to a question: Is it tacky to wear your own band's shirt? I do, but I kinda feel dorky and self-congratulatory when I do. Plus, Jeremy wears his a lot, and I flat refuse to wear matching shirts.
If I could have one concert shirt back, I'd want my old Saxon "Strong Arm Of The Law" baseball-tee back. It was super-comfortable, and made me look bad-ass. Well, as bad-ass as I can look, anyway.

Everyone's opinion is different, but for me the answer is yes. I'm a shameless self-promoter, as evidenced by the upcoming shows forum, but I just can't bring myself to walk around with one of my own band's shirts on. I do, however, occasionally wear one of the hoodies that Kenny got everyone in the band for Christmas last year. They're quite warm and don't scream, "Hey, I'm wearing my band's official hoodie right here!"songsmith wrote: Which leads to a question: Is it tacky to wear your own band's shirt? On topic - One of the best investments you can make is giving some shirts for free or a reduced price to the bartenders, especially if they dig your band. It's worth eating the production costs to have some hot girls (or buff dudes if your female or swing that way LOL) pimpin' your name at the bar all night.

Hahaha! Thanks dude!Bloodsong wrote:we have girl shirts if you need one to fit your size, metalchurch. we also have one for Dirty; the size tag just says "tent".
I can wear a Large T, but only by certain companies. I'm not a very big guy and I dont like to wear baggie clothes, that's why I wear a Medium T mostly cause it's slim fitting.

LOL!! Thats funny. My brother finally broke down and scrapped the Korruption sticker off his Blazer. I think I saw him tear up a little bit...lol!!I have a question wrote:I did have a Korruption shirt, but I took it to goodwill a few years ago because I never wore it. I wonder if anyone bought it, or if it's still there?
