The last five songs mentioned would be killer as long as the band could pull them off.

Anything off of On Through The Night. That would kill. Ya have to represent, ya know. ;)

I'm a Def Leppard fan, but to be honest, none of these songs are among my favorites. I think there are much better Leppard tunes that haven't been played to death. I'd rather hear songs like "Billy's Got A Gun" or "Gods Of War."

Just my two cents.

I've also been a Def Leppard fan for a long, long time, and to tell everyone the truth, you really need a vocal powerhouse to pull a lot of their shit off. They were a bunch of ugly Brits who rocked the f*ck out. As I started to think about it, they have so many good songs, I can't choose.
... and then the wheel fell off.

Not only the vocals, but the back up vocals as well.

For what it's worth, I have heard the original rough mix of "Pyromania" and Joe Elliot's vocals were hideous! There is so much done to his lyrics to make him sound better. I have never heard a vocalist sound so raw, especially after being so used to hearing Def Lep sound so polished and refined on the radio.

If anyone is curious and wants to hear this for themselves let me know and I'll figure out a way to post a link to it.

Being a former member of an 80's metal tribute (Scream), I'd rather hear a band cover Leonard Nimoy, Gordon Lightfoot, or Counting Crows rather than EVER hear another band cover "Pour Some Sugar On Me". 99.99999% of bands perform it way too fast anyway.

Play "Me And My Wine", "Too Late For Love", or "God Of War", or hell, even "Animal"...but only if you can nail the harmony vocals.

Sugar is what I refer to as a piss break song. I'd rather hear something not every cover band in town is doing.

Of those choices, I'd say women. I'd love to hear a band do Too Late for Love. That's one of my favs.
