Hello Everyone,

Here is the recap of the October 19 edition of Q94's weekly local music program, "The Backyard Rocker," which airs every Sunday night from 8 to 10 PM on WBRX 94.3 and WBXQ 94.7.

With no scheduled guests this week, we again took the opportunity to get caught up on new CD's that have arrived recently, and blew the dust off a few bands and artists whose music we hadn't played on the program for a while. Along the way, we debuted new songs from The Fitt, Punchline, Persephone's Dream, Echo, Nate Gates, Halestorm, Frankie & the Nomads, Michael DeMichele, Num, Hydrate and DCB Band. We also dug into the local music archives for a 1992 song from State College's The Hipsters for our Local Music Flashback.

For two hours, we'll spotlight some of the 'scarier' bands and artists of the area music scene, as well as songs with a Halloween/horror-type theme.
