peace

Post by cruseaudio »

First off I must appologise to everyone here for my well...less than tolerable nature lately.
Hawk had to call me on it earlier, in another thread and if I would listen to anyone, it might be him.

This whole dying scene thing that we are all worried about here has EVERYONE fired up though. Mostly I am glad to see people on here get fired up about something, (sure wish it was PACAG), and I know that everyone here has nothing but the best intentions, be it for themselves, their band, or others in the band comunity.

I just can't even get in a good mood when I think about not being able to do what I have been doing for so long now. It is like telling a rock not to be a rock, I don't know.

Everyone I work or have worked with in the past knows that I bust my balls to do the best I can. I just feel a responsability to do so. But I also think it might be the reason they give me such leeway in my recent posts,(how the fuck do you spell leeway?) But I had gotten to the point of not even caring about that. I never intended to hurt anyone's feelings or point any fingers, but shit like that happens.

I don't have a problem with anyone but a few bad apples here, so I don't want to put anyone in that catigory who doesn't deserve it.

What you guys need to understand is I have no choice in this whole thing if I want to stay afloat. I know you guys have a lot invested, but not the kinda "we're gonna take your house shit" when it goes south. In other words, I HAVE to make money. It isn't a choice. For those of you who don't know I do claim to have the best stuff available, ( I do) and some who have used it might agree. And I do a lot of stuff that keeps it going, so no real worries, yet.
Me renting it out for half price to bar bands was me trying to help the scene, I can see now that it was unapreciated not to mention a waste of time. But you know I will do the same thing over again, but it will be when I run sound for my son's band. Well that won't be for a loooong time, about 18 or so years.

Now maybe that I explained myself a little bit, I have a proposal- Anyone with any ideas about the next step the local scene needs to take, contact me. We all have ideas. we all don't feel like we are being heard. I never did and really don't want to fight about it. I just want to know who is on board. You don't need to get on board with me, you just need to get on board! And if you don't, then this apology isn't for you and you can still go to hell... :)

I don't want to sound like a freakin hippocrit but, can't we all just get along? :) ,united we stand, and all those other sayings bullshit...

Anyhow, I think I said my peace.

It would be cool just to have a scene get together. No plans on what to talk about. We don't need any specific agendas, just a bunch of musicians sitting around talking about whatever.

When I went out to see the Nightcrawlers on Friday, it was just cool to sit around with the band, Big Jim, Mr/Mrs Sanchez, and Season and just shoot the bull.
