I realized what my new pet peeve is!

People that say: Not so much.

It's such a stupid phrase that everyone says now. I can't stand it! Be original people, come up with your own phrases!

I figured I was the creepy old guy at the playground. :o
Well 1. I have no clue what you look like so would be wrong for me to even make such an assumption. 2. to my knowledge you have never sent me a friends request or some oddball message on myspace.

Hmm, let me see......Ohh us!
Lets go to the chalkboard children, shall we?
Band A who plays Freebird: 26 shows in Dec.
Band B who doesn't play Freebird: 0 Shows in Dec.
So STFU and get out of the garage.
Would you like Killers, Run to the hills or Phantom of the opera?

You are now free to go re-line your ass with a fresh Christmas ham! :P
Our band hasnt played out because of odd circumstances that keep coming at us and forcing us to not be able to practice or do much of anything. We are on a good track right now and getting back in the swing of things. As for Freebird, love it or hate it that song is a classic, but its not everyones cup of tea, and i know for a fact that us choosing not to play that song is not whats stopping us from playing out. We're new, you are established, hence the reason we dont play 26 times a month, im sure you were in our shoes at one point or another. We are trying and i think that what you said was slightly uncalled for. I always held you in the highest regard as far as musicians go around here, said nothing but good things about you and your band (however much that means, i dont know), and that statement is the thanks i get for being a Felix and the Hurricanes supporter. Thanks dude, i really appreciate it.

I'm actually VERY handsome and rarely hang out at playgrounds. And alas, I haven't requested your "friendship" on Myspace. I was trying to be funny, and you have now FUCKED that all up!

Prepare to recieve my oddball message and friend request on Myspace tomorrow!

I really don't know if I should even start in this thread? I could be here for a while!

I dislike when people say;

2000 and 7 for 2007. Did you say 1990 and 7 for 1997? That has bothered me since 2001.

Sheetzes. The store chain is called Sheetz, not Sheetzes.

Also when someone is giving a phone number (or any string of numbers) and they say "O" instead of Zero. O is a letter, not a number.

Mute, when they really mean moot. "It's a moot point". Not, "It's a mute point".

I dislike when people;

Smoke in public.

Are NASCAR fans.

Drive slower than the posted speed limit, under normal conditions.

Misuse then/than in their writing.

Have stickers on their vehicle advertising any business that isn't their own. Did the dealership give you extra money to advertise for them on your car? No? Then take their name off! And, do you own an Orange County Chopper? Then why are you advertising them?

Take the Lord's name in vain, regardless if they are a believer or not, it can be the highest offense to those of us who are. I can handle well-placed vulgarity, but don't disrespect my savior.

Think they have every right to act like and asshole just because they bought a ticket to an event.

On that note; how about when people misuse "your" and "you're'"
"You're" means "you are." "Your" indicates possesion.

Or maybe this was an excuse to get this picture posted again.

It makes me cringe when people misuse things like "You/You're/your" and "their/there/they're" as well; other misused words are "to and too". It shows how much they payed attention in school. Of course, I shouldn't really say anything about that as I never started to pay attention until I got into college. Either way though, It is quite interesting when you start to see how bad the grammar and ebonics of the modern human is. It makes you want to improve it more. And yes I still have some improving to do on mine.

There is another one that really makes me fume, that is hypocrites; I do not like when some says not to do something and does it themselves. I always had the belief to practice what you preach. If you don't do that, then shut your trap and move on. What you say will have no bearing on anything if you do not also do it.

The new Publisher's Clearing House commercial....the little girl who appears to be about 7 years old...and proudly proclaims ..." I thought it was a gimick, but it AIN'T"

Simply Pathetic!

Sirs, you are both truly saints of the grammatical crusade.
If plain and proper English is what you seek, I am the purveyor of such. You're welcome.

Today I went to Martin's to buy some New Year's items including hotdogs and hotdog rolls.

I was looking for an 8-pack of the larger sized hotdog rolls. There were none to be found; however, there were close to 1000 12-packs of those puny little rolls on special for a buck.

Do you think they had any 12-packs of hotdogs to go with their roll-a-rama? Of course not.
