I'm coming in late on this one but I, too, think that some of the stuff is really funny!!! I skip over what I don't want to read, read what I want. I agree with "Superman" lol...
Oh, and have at it Capt. Grammar!!!
Some of us enjoy laughing. If you don't like the music discussion to crap discussion ratio, do something to change it by adding to the value of the content instead of bitching about the content.

Oh, and have at it Capt. Grammar!!!

WOW!! I think I really opened a can of worms here, didn't I?
Like I said at the beginning of this - maybe I just wasn't in a very patient mood when I started this thread, and I think that may have been the case.
Personally, I like that people can express themselves on this forum. I find a lot of things that people say to be extremely funny. I thought captain grammer was a total hoot!! At the same time I feel that woofbooger is not funny in the least and actually find his posts to be insulting to woman and my intelligence (what little I have).
I appreciate Ron and JP's attempts to keep things cool on this site.
I will not, however, take back my comments about people that post on here and refuse to identify themselves. They are the ones that are helping to destroy our group here and they should not be feed or tolerated.
I say let's keep the humor as long as it doesn't derail serious threads (like the one's for the PLCE changes). But, let's get rid of the nasty hateful stuff.
I don't think the general discussion section has to be all about music - or even a certain percent needs to be about music. I guess I get a little irritated the same as Dan who said he only gets so much time to check things out on here and sometimes it is hard to filter out what is important with what is not important (and that is all a matter of perspective.)
I have been as big of an offender of highjacking or of getting nasty during the political crap (sorry Bobby Lee) or of just getting on here late at night after a good round of getting plastered and saying stupid things. I bet most of us have done that - but at least most of us will identify ourselves and many of us that have argued on this forum can still be friends and throw back a few drinks together.
I think my biggest frustration was looking at some of the weird posts after attending the meeting about the PLCE stuff and realizing that if any legislators that were going to be helping us actually looked at this forum - I doubt they would take us very seriously after reading some of the crazy stuff that goes on in here.
Urbs
(okay Captain Grammer - educate me!!
)

byndrsn ,I hear ya loud and clear man !
That last part about the PLCE could be very true.
"WE" sure don't want them to think we're all a bunch immature assholes and not take anything anyone says on here serious. A very good point for sure, well said dude!

I think Rockpage should be left out of this. There will be a website for the committee and everything will be on that. Another reason is the show schedule, if LCB wanted to target specific clubs, bands and members who posted about the issue here its all in the open.byndrsn wrote:
