I have heard it said that on opening day of deer season, there could be close to 1 million hunters in Penna. That is just Pa, and many other states have close to the same amount of hunters and/or gun owners. We do constitute a militia, one that is not activated.

Just the hunters in Pa. would constitute the largest standing armed army in the world for that day.

That is why the one-world movement types, who are also the gun grabber types want to take away our right to own guns. With the populace owing arms, we will remain free.

HERE ! HERE ! I hear ya undercoverjoe.

I try not to rag on people for there views much and try to see things from their perspective instead of my own as much as possible in order to get their point and anti gun people do have legitiment points also. Guns will always be a heated topic and never agreed on completly by either party, anti or pro , period . I've had a friend and his brother shot in turkey season by a grown adult who should 've knew better , a friend more or less murdered, mainly because booze was involved IMHO, and have almost been shot myself a couple of times. Does this change the way I feel about GUNS? No it doesn't! None of it was the gun's fault only the idiot pulling the trigger and that's the bottom line.

One thing that does make me feel a little bit safe about being an American Citizen is that I highly doubt any of our enemies will ever consider a invasion here for that reason of we all more or less own a/several guns, but I've also often wondered if our government would let us help out if we were to be invaded?

Take away our guns and we MAY BE ATTACKED on our homefront in ground war, they may already be here and waiting for the the day that it happens, and don't ever think it won't cause that's what happened on 911. WE can never let our gaurd down again.

What I've learned about San Francisco, I still say the state of CA has jurisdiction over a city, could have prevented it or can overturn it. What political party is now in power and speaks of "spreading "freedom" throughout the world"? The neo-cons are being brazen and aren't even trying to hide their agenda, many people still don't seem to care and THAT my friends is the scary part for me today in the United States of America. Constantly invoking 09-11 to further power and political gains is akin to a crime in my eyes. It's disgusting to me the way they have no compunction about using the horror of that day in such a manner for their "excuse". Look at Iran right now. They are next on the invasion agenda and the Oil Bourse - yes, Oil is the real reason, not the EXCUSE of Nuclear weapons. The Nuclear materials they are using aren't even weapons grade...it's for POWER PLANTS and they have constantly complied time and again in areas where Pakistan and India REFUSED to. It's about oil and what is disheartening, is how people in America don't seem to care enough about other Human Beings to disseminate and see the facts for themselves. Even the mindset of many who do know the facts is: "They're ONLY Muslims, who cares if 10s of thousands more are slaughtered, as long as I can keep on driving the gas guzzling SUV." I care and I also care about the ones who have been sent over there. We have a ready made "Militia"? GOOD! Because if anything ever does go down in this Country, they'll be needed. "Registered Guns?" What Gun legally purchased in the United States isn't recorded/registered, in one way or another? It has been like that a long, long time, even when Reagan was President.

Over 2,200 of our own troops are "gone", the majority after it was announced that the fighting in Iraq was over, during a photo op on an air craft carrier, by the supreme COWARD. Thousands more have been maimed for life. The one who is supposedly the leader behind the 09-11 attacks is still FREE! I say supposedly because there was never a TRUE criminal investigation. Many do not realize that. Oh, we've had the bogus, controlled, so called
"Commission", but there was NEVER an actual criminal investigation.
Why, what is being covered up, is what hundreds of thousands would like to know. I often wonder how many more brave Soldiers dying it will take, 10 times that many, or I suppose so long as it doesn't "hit home" so to speak, they're "out of sight, out of mind". I haven't forgotten them. The most Patriotic thing one can do is to keep standing up for what one believes in. You have to tell the friggin U.N. that on your last tour of Iran, you found no weapons grade matierals to make nucs there. I hope you looked in every closet, because for you to sound so assured that they have none, you must have went personally.

It was announced by the U.N. just 2 days ago that Iran DOES have the right materials to manufacture a nuclear bomb.

Most of the oil in Iran goes to China, so we must be doing all of this for our good friends the Communist Chinese.

Oh I agree with a lot of that. The Socialist Democrat party is basically against the capitalist system that made us powerful and free.

The Republican Federalist party has forgot Jefferson's best quote on government (IMO), "The government that governs least, governs best."

This country needs a new party, sort of a combined Constitutional and Libertarian party. Sort of the Anti-Nanny State party.

I think that the Constitutional party has some good ideas, but they are just too based in faith for my taste. I have no problem with religion, but I just think that government should remain as secular as possible.

I think I should draft my own manifesto, and create my own political party.
