It's not that bad, Esa.
Anyone who has seen one of truck races live will tell you that they are definitely action filled. Where the Nextel cup drivers will be somewhat cautious about pushing things to the edge, the truck drivers have no qualms about it. Probably because of inexperience and sheer youthful enthusiasm, but those races are very exciting to watch.
In addition, Ricky is driving the #99 Roush truck that Carl Edwards had great success in. He should have a great year.
i know...but now i have to find a new racer ...it's either DEJ or JG...and since they are the big name racers, i want to shy away from that...
Ricky and I have a story that goes a while back...so... this is kinda...well.. sad to me.
but i will support him in the trucks.... why did he leave anyways? (if ya know)

I'll be the one left standing behind you, looking the other way as you glance back at what you've lost.

Anyone but JG .. Anyway, he left because he was fired. He wasn't making par so they dumped him. That happens a lot in nascar, you can be going great one season, Then the next have a bad year and be out of a ride.
If you're looking for a new racer with a bright future, I think Jamie McMurray or Kasey Kahne would be good prospects. Definately talented, personable and motivated, plus they both finished outside of the top 10 last season, so no one can accuse you of "jumping on the bandwagon".

My take on Jimmy Johnson is; the only reason he is doing so well is because he is getting Gordons old equipment. If he was driving for a small team, like bamm racing for example, he would not be nearly as successful as he is now. Mind you, Jimmy Johnson is good. But the equipment is making him better ...
Also, if it came down to it I would rather see Jimmy Johnson with the title than Jeff Gordon any day .. Although, with the old point sysyem, Jeff Gordon would have got the title last season.
