I couldn't decide on the Santana and Robin Trower one, so I sat it out. It looks like I will be sitting this one out also. Man, these are getting tough. There is no way I could choose one over the other on this one.undercoverjoe wrote:Poll: The Greatest Guitarist of All Time, Round 1 — Alex Lifeson Vs. Neal Schon

Wow, how do you vote on this choice? I might sit this one out.
I did look at the results and Alex Lifeson is killing Niel Schon. Probably because he is more popular. I'm not sure what the final for Santana and Robin Trower was.
[edit]
They have the previous days results below the current poll - Santana beat Trower. Probably because he is more popular. They should just change the poll to the most popular guitar player of all time. That would clear up some confusion.

Poll: The Greatest Guitarist of All Time, Round 1 — Robert Johnson Vs. Hubert Sumlin
http://www.guitarworld.com/poll-greates ... ert-sumlin
This is a very tough choice too. I saw Hubert Sumlin in Johnstown a few years back, and he was awesome. Robert Johnson was a better overall entertainer and writer but I think Hubert is a better blues guitarist.
KK lost by a lot yesterday.

I am sitting this one out. Robert Johnson will win because he is the father of blues and more known.undercoverjoe wrote:Poll: The Greatest Guitarist of All Time, Round 1 — Robert Johnson Vs. Hubert Sumlin

I chose Petrucci also. The video clip is from G3. How many string guitar was that that Tosin was playing? It was either a 7 or 8. I couldn't tell.undercoverjoe wrote:Readers Poll: The Greatest Guitarist of All Time — John Petrucci Vs. Tosin Abasi

Way too hard to choose, but I voted for Uli because Randy was leading by 87% to 13% and Uli is way too great for something like that.
