already have a full band. I got out of the Navy, finished my school, and am staying here for my wife who wants to live close to her mom since her dad died a couple years ago. as soon as we can, we're moving to where I can apply my craft. Presently I am a production engineer for Fifth Member Productions. And Homer Simpson only has that job because Matt Goening used to be a Navy Nuke as well, so that's what he knew, he created the simpsons mostly while on watch in maneuvering. Any other questions?I have a question wrote:A few observations:KyleMayket wrote:I used to run nuclear fucking reactorss
1. Homer Simpson runs nuclear reactors
2. "Used to"
3. Now you are a sound & light engineer?
Why did you fall down the corporate ladder? Are you a jackass at work too? hahaha No wonder you can't find people to be in your band hahahahaha

You don't wind anyone up. I can't believe you think you're posts have that kind of affect on anyone. I guarantee you that 99% of the people you berate just think - what an idiot - then move on. If you think I'm sitting here all steamed up, letting you're moronic degradations ruin my day, you seriously have outweighed your ability to affect to other human beings.KyleMayket wrote:because you're the only one that I like to wind up...so how many votive candles have you lit in your shrine to Tom Brady today?JakeWilliams wrote:You're an idiot. How have you managed to get 245 posts without being thrown off this site? You haven't said one thing that wasn't intended to insult and degrade another...
Grow up. Try to post something that adds to a conversation for once.
And continually bringing up the "Brady" post when it has no relevance is just retarded...
Nobody else thinks that much of you or what you have to say... Seriously, get over yourself.

actually in all honesty, no it's not, it already has 21 posts, how could I have just created it, I don't believe in "Phantom accounts" I'm out there for everyone to know and love. I'm me and that's all there is to that, I don't feel I need to "Hide" behind anything, just like you, and for that I commend you. You are who you are and that's all there is to it, take it or leave it, right?

wow, I go out for a couple hours and look what I missed!
I need to spend some time in research before I answer, intelligently, I hope.
Got a gig to get ready for so I'll be back sometime after that. (I am always too awake after playing and that seems the best time to look things up.)
later, honeys!

I thought this was a hugh point of the debate.
When Obama said. "And so John likes -- John, you like to pretend like the war started in 2007. You talk about the surge. The war started in 2003, and at the time when the war started, you said it was going to be quick and easy. You said we knew where the weapons of mass destruction were. You were wrong.
You said that we were going to be greeted as liberators. You were wrong. You said that there was no history of violence between Shia and Sunni. And you were wrong. And so my question is...
I have a hard time supporting someone so wrong about such important issues.

I'll try to be nicer if you'll try to be smarter!
Very good point. The surge appeared to work... but Paul Harvey knows the rest of the story. What made the surge work? Moqtada Al Sadr, a Shiite cleric, and probably the real leader of Iraq, declared that his army (the Mehdi Army?) stop escalations in the civil war that was taking place. Al Sadr has more control than any American there. In addition, the Iraqi people themselves are more leery of outside fighters, and pretty much all of Al Qaeda In Iraq, who were nearly all non-Iraqi. (Al Qaeda In Iraq gets $$ from bin Laden, not proven, but it's not Osama's club. He hated Saddam, and Iraq in general.) Other factors include a general public boredom of violence, and the distinct possibility that they're running out of stuff to blow up. It also bears mentioning that as Iraq violence decreased with the surge, Afghan violence went up.
I don't think the surge worked. I think it was another case of Reagan saying, "Tear down this wall!" as the USSR went bankrupt. He saw it coming (we all did), and claimed responsibility.
There's also a huge, 800-lb gorilla in the room. We went to Iraq because there were WMD's, supposedly. Bin Laden is in Afghanistan/Pakistan. We could have followed him into the frontier, but we were up to our elbows in the former Pakistani dictator we were buds with (you know, with the nukes and all). 7 years later, Osama's still drawing breath, but the Bushies are more concerned with Obama. The continuance of power is of the utmost importance here.------->JMS

those are all excellent points. 3 of my good friends have gone to Iraq, and thank goodness, come home (the latest has just gone back from his mid tour leave) and all 3 say the same exact story " Oh, it was bad when i got there, but now it's really calmed down." which tells me one of 2 things. One, they all have different thresholds of what "Bad" means, or Two, the militants are just waiting for a change in the guard to retake their foot hold in whatever region they are in. Kinda scary like it's never ending over there.
oh, and to end my post, getting back to Palin, Tina Fey is a comedy godess!

The above quote from Kyle is why I don't get involved in political threads. Everything was fine until Trace said something that Kyle didn't agree with, and out of nowhere, Trace is "fucking retarded". Grow the fuck up, Kyle. If you're so brilliant, you should know that it makes absolutely no difference who you vote for in November, we're all hosed anyway. Presidential elections don't matter. It's the House and Senate elections that you need to vote in.KyleMayket wrote:You are mentally fucking retarded. Not just because you actually listen to what Lou Dobbs says, but because you don't think that Palin is an honest to god idiot...she fucking is. A monkey that knows sign language would be a better VP than Palin. reiterate party spin from the liberal media... give me a break and pull your head out of the sand. You know what, you just go ahead and vote for McCain and flush this country down the toilet.CHICKSINGA wrote:Give me one example of the liberal media attacking Joe Biden with gotcha questions like Gibson and Couric did to Palin.
Do you think that Biden would have an astute answer in such a rapid fire situation? Would Couric and Gibson continue to badger Biden? Doubt it.
AND when Palin did mention the fact that in 2006 McCain was forefront in warning about the future debacle that would result in the mortgage market from the lack of regulation going on, (Of which Obama did NOTHING) Couric ignored it and just kept digging for answers that are tough to explain in such a forum. Because she had an agenda - to make Palin look bad, no matter what.
Is everybody here so knowledgeable that they have the answers or are we fighting as partisan "haters' so much that you just spew the spin that the media puts forth? How much time do you spend watching all channels that cover politics? We watch NBC, CNN and Fox. We spend our time watching all of it. Right now the only person making ANY clear sense is Lou Dobbs!
Before you get on here and just reiterate the Party Spin that the LIBERAL Media wants to brainwash you with, SPEND the TIME! Do the Work and use your own mind!
Right now the Republicans are holding up the decision about the bailout – but shouldn’t this decision take the time necessary? Do we really want to give tax payer money to the people that screwed it up in the first place? We aren’t “transfer of wealth” thinkers, but we feel the money would be better spent to give it to the people to pay their mortgages.
Yes it's our party, but we won't sit back and say they are right just because it is. We do the work to have valid conclusions of OUR OWN.
Be honest - DO YOU?
Dood...
Then why elect a president in the first place? Just askin'.ToonaRockGuy wrote:If you're so brilliant, you should know that it makes absolutely no difference who you vote for in November, we're all hosed anyway.
