Mitt was born in this country so it does not matter where his dad or great grandfather's grandmother was born. McCain was the child of US citizens serving the country in the military abroad. That made him a US citizen.

If our Kenyan's father was a US citizen this would not be a problem. His father was a Muslim Kenyan citizen. And Obama was born exactly the same as his father. In Islam, a child is Muslim if the father is.

The price of gas is high because capitalists in their pajamas buy it and mark it up, buy it and mark it up, buy it and mark it up. They bumped the price because they're banking on us or Israel nuking Iran or vice-versa. It won't happen, but that doesn't matter, it's an excuse. The market is heavily DEregulated, and you don't have to have your own storage tank for the gas, like you once did, so the nice, patriotic speculators and Bush deregulation are to blame.
Demand for gasoline in China and India is a given. When our middle-class manufacturing jobs and tech-support were OUTSOURCED there, they became what America was: a consumer-driven society, where the working-class had the buying power. You can't send all the living-wage jobs away, then expect America to be a world leader anymore. We've been the lone superpower since the post-WWII era, but thanks to wage inequalities, dirty business practices and failed Reaganomics, America is no longer top dawg. You'd better get used to that, no matter who wins in November. That damage was done years ago.
Finally, we'll never be free of Middle Eastern oil without the green technology you so viciously hate.
