Cast another one for Journey. I wore their greatest hits cassette out I played it so much. You can cast one for reo speedwagon as well ...

And yes, prince is an amazing musician. I read one time that he can play 27 dif instruments. and he played all the intruments on his albums. Way to much talent that guy has ...

Don't be ashamed of liking Mr. Big. They kick serious ass. I was just telling old sKool that I'd love to cover How's it Gonna Be off of Bump Ahead.
"He's the electric horseman, you better back off!" - old sKool making a reference to the culturally relevant 1979 film.

Extreme.

Gary Cherone with Extreme = Good.

Gary Cherone with Van Halen = Bad. Very bad.

There are a bunch of groups I'm NOT ashamed of liking but maybe I should be. Foreigner, Honeymoon Suite, the Hooters, Toad the Wet Sprocket.

All secrets revealed, I used to jam constantly in my '76 Pinto station wagon to "Welcome to the Real World," the album with that "Kyrie" (sp.) song on it. Rock on, Mr. Mister ... LOL

Add to my list:
** Rick Springfield
** "Old School" Michael Jackson (everyone who is honest bought a copy of "Thriller" ...) :?

foreigner is not shameful. Lou Gramm has an awesome voice. I put his right up there with Steve Perry's.

I never did like extreme. and as for mr. big - Paul Gilbert and Billy Sheehan are two awesome musicians.

Yes rob, I am guilty - I had thriller. I liked the video for it also .. It was pretty cool. Then that was back before jacko went nuts ..

Foreigner is great! I own the Hooters and Toad the Wet Sprocket (I've always especially loved Toad's one tune!), but never bought ANY Michael Jackson. I've liked a few of his tunes well enough I suppose, but the one I like the most is "The Way You Make Me Feel". I'll never forget my oldest son, at the age of 2 or 3, sitting in his car seat and while that was playing on the radio, I can still hear him going "hee-hee"! :)

I used to have Boston and Chicago on 8 track. :) There is a Zep tune and a Chicago tune that have musical parts that sound SO similar, I wonder, which one was first chronologically? "Babe I'm Gonna Leave You" or "25 or 6 to 4"? I think that is the title of the Chicago tune...

Edit: The Zep tune came first. Thanks, Toona!

I actually like many of The Dixie Chicks tunes...they're very talented and Mains? She called a Spade a Spade, she ROCKS!

I just ROTFL over a lot of Weird Al's stuff, especially "Amish Paradise"! I haven't heard that in a while. :D My youngest nephew was also quite the Weird Al fan at one time.

 Bryan Adams and NO, "Summer of '79" isn't WHY. Hey, you have your Summer, I had mine. :D He has many, many other tunes in existance.

I look forward to Christmas season every year so I can get on the air at work and play "The Night Santa Went Crazy" by Wierd Al. If you haven't heard it, it's without a doubt the most FUBAR holiday song every written.
