Bright spot of the game, while the defense did seem to go into some weird kind of prevent for the second half for whatever reason, was Ben. This guy, I think, is showing the critics that there doesn't seem to be a sophomore jinx where he's concerned. He seemed to keep his head in the game even when Randel El was dropping balls that were hitting him in the hands all day (and throwing the ones he caught on the turf) and when it came to two-minute offense, Roethlisberger pushed it down field like an old pro and got it in the end zone.

I also dug seeing Hines get taped up when he pulled the hammy instead of sitting down. Goes to show the guy IS worth the money he asked for. We need a score, I'm hurt, but f*ck it, tape me back together and put me back in.

#86 remains 'da man in the NFL.

gentlemen,

I enjoy watching Pittsburgh play, but unfortunately under Cowher who I think is a really good coach, cant win in the big dance. They might be the 1st team to beat the Dolphins unbeaten streak someday, (we know it wont be this year) but they just lack killer instinct in the big game. I cant figure it out, cuz they possess the raw ability, the talent, the everything u need; but yet they just cant get it done. Blaming Randle El is just relieving frustration of what this organization has failed to do for so many years when they have been more than competent to do so. Give the dude a break, he just wants to win.

I don't hate the Patriots...the Steelers did only okay in the first 1/2...the Patriots played better football in the second 1/2 and won. Why Randel El thought his f up was so hilarious does make one wonder. As far as "hating" teams, I shall always HATE Dallas with a passion and the Eagles aren't too far behind. The game last Monday night when the Dallas lost to the Redskins in the 4th quarter, was priceless to behold! :) (Edit: My daughter reminded me of the other team...I must be getting early Senility, as I'm the one who told her about how great it was!)

Whoa...interesting.

I think that the rankings there are pretty close with some exceptions. I don't think Cincinatti is proven enough yet to be above the Colts, for example.
